Everything Confirmed About Trigun Stargaze
For starters, it has been confirmed that Trigun Stargaze will be produced by Orange, the same studio that worked on the prequel. This proves that the people involved in the project are confident of the work put in by the studio. Many fans criticized Orange for its use of 3D models and not sticking closer to the style of the original anime series.
Fans who watched the original anime are understandably wistful about the remake, but to expect another studio to produce the anime and not add its touch is too naive. It is also worth mentioning that Trigun Stampede stays true to the manga written by Yasuhiro Nightow.
Aside from Trigun, Orange has also worked on other notable projects, including:
- Beastars
- Godzilla Singular Point
- Land of the Lustrous
The studio might not have a ton of projects under its belt, but the ones it has worked on have received positive reception from viewers.
Trigun Stargaze will be directed by Masako Sato, who has previously worked on The Apothecary Diaries, Haikyuu!!, Run with the Wind, and Welcome to the Ballroom. She is a veteran, and, under her guidance, Trigun Stargaze will most likely be a hit. The cast from Trigun Stampede will likely reprise their respective roles for the sequel, which means Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will return to voice Vash.
Trigun Is A Cult Classic That Every Anime Fan Should Watch
Trigun is based on the work of Yasuhiro Nightow. The series began serialization in Monthly Shōnen Captain in March 1995. However, the manga had to switch to Young King OURs in 1997, where it continued until 2007. The original anime was produced by Madhouse in 1998, and it consisted of 26 episodes.
Years later, Trigun announced an original anime film. It was titled Trigun: Badlands Rumble, and it was released in Japan on April 24, 2010. The remake of Trigun was announced in 2022, and it was released in January 2023.
Trigun Stargaze will be released in 2026.
