One Piece: Oda Reveals A Family Even Stronger Than The Monkey D. Family

This family is far stronger than the Monkey D. family. Their power is rivaled by few.

The revelations made here will be massive and the plot will progress in an absolutely spectacular manner. Just as Oda has been revealing some major lore through Franky and Ripley as they travel across the Adam Tree, it seems he’s done so once again with One Piece chapter 1144, only this time, Oda has officially revealed the era of the first Nika.

The Three Sun Gods Of The World

  • The Sun God Nika Existed Long Ago In The First World
  • Joy Boy And Luffy Use The Sun God’s Power

Fans know that the Sun God Nika existed long ago in the One Piece world. Up until Elbaf, it was unclear whether the Sun God Nika was real or not. Some believed the Sun God Nika to be a myth, while others kept full faith in Nika. But, Elbaf confirmed to the fans that the Sun God Nika was most certainly a real figure from long ago. This was confirmed to the fans through the Harley, which was narrated by Nico Robin in the One Piece manga.

Our world was destroyed twice in the past. — Jarul

According to the Harley, the world of One Piece has been destroyed twice already, which means three worlds exist in total. In the very first world, the discovery of the Motherflame was made, and with that, slavery came into effect. The world was very advanced, but equally cruel. The slaves wished to be saved from their chains, and that’s how Sun God Nika descended upon the world. In the end, the Earth God and the Servant of Hellfire united their forces and destroyed the whole world.

Oda Reveals When The First Sun God Nika Was Active

One Piece Chapter 1144 Confirm A 3000 Year Old Era

In One Piece chapter 1144, fans followed Franky and Ripley once again, and Oda continued to reveal immense lore through them. At the very beginning of the chapter, Franky and Ripley came across the remains of an ancient Iron Giant, and a facility was seemingly built inside it. This was a massive shock to Franky, especially because even Ripley clearly said that the truth behind this facility is unknown to this day.

Based on my observations, this facility has got to be at least 3000 years old! — Vegapunk

This is where Vegapunk Lilith shows up, raving about the interiors of the facility. But, most importantly, Lilith also revealed that based on her studies, this place is about 3000 years old. This, when coupled with the fact that the Iron Giant exists there, proves that the First World existed around 3000 years ago. At the time, Sun God Nika was born. Just like Luffy and Joy Boy, Nika had a robot of his own, which ended up becoming the facility later on.

Regardless, fans found out that the First World was around 3000 years ago, which is absolutely massive information when it comes to One Piece lore. Prior to this major reveal, fans had assumed that the First World existed around 1600 years ago, but now, an official timeline has been given to the fans, thanks to Oda’s latest chapter of One Piece.

So far, very few details have been provided about what lies inside the facility. Franky is willing to explore the facility, which means fans will definitely find out more pieces of information as One Piece proceeds even further in the Elbaf arc. Big, at the moment, fans can only assume that some technology that links itself to the Motherflame from the First World is present inside. Undoubtedly, the lore reveals in Elbaf have been absolutely massive, and fans know that by the end of this arc, they’ll have a lot more information at their hands, which makes what’s coming next even more exciting.

The Death Of The First Sun God

  • The First Sun God Died When There Was War In The First World
  • The First World

Flames engulfed the land, and humans succumbed to their desires, touching the forbidden Sun. The enslaved prayed, and the Sun God appeared. The Earth God was enraged, and together with the serpent of infernal flames, shrouded the world in death and darkness. They would never meet again.

One Piece: Why Monkey D. Luffy Will Be Declared Strongest In The World At The End Of The Series

Luffy will be the srtrongest in One Piece by the end of the story. Here’s why.

Of course, when one speaks of the First World, the war that eventually broke out there comes under focus. Fans know through the Harley that during the First World, there was chaos on the planet. It is highly likely that the Red Line didn’t exist at this point. At the same time, Devil Fruits weren’t real either. But, humanity did make great progress and this was achieved through the Motherflame which was found on the planet. This flame was harnessed, and whoever ruled the world at the time likely used the slaves to mine the raw materials for it. This led to a lot of unrest in the world, and eventually, the slaves, who were hopeless, turned to a godly entity and wished for freedom. Somehow, the Sun God Nika arrived and his arrival sparked chaos. Nika likely saved the slaves and liberated them from their chains.

At the same time, however, the Earth God, which could’ve been either the ruler of the planet or the planet itself, most likely raged and somehow, the Red Line came into being, which is what’s referred to as the Serpent of Hellfire. Together, they destroyed the world, which means that the Sun God Nika died here. The world went silent and there was likely no hope for humanity until thousands of years later, which is when breath stirred again during the Second World.

Hopefully, as One Piece’s Elbaf arc continues, fans will find out a lot more information about the First World, and potentially even the Second World. The Sun God Nika plotline is central to the Elbaf arc, which means fans will definitely see it elaborated upon even further as the story continues. Furthermore, Elbaf also has the Heaven Realm, which, so far, remains to be completely untouched. This part of the country could hold some of the biggest and deepest secrets of the world, which makes the Elbaf arc even more exciting than ever before. Fans absolutely cannot wait to see what’s next as Oda explores the Final Saga even more.

One Piece is available to read via Viz Media. The series can be read by the fans officially and for free on the Shonen Jump and the Manga Plus apps. The release date for the next chapter of One Piece, One Piece 1144, is set to be March 30, 2025.
