A new Fortnite Reload map has been announced, in a recent trailer running down all of the changes that are coming to the mode. The C2 Fortnite Reload map looks like it’s taking particular inspiration from the second map on the game. Similar to how the first map resembled Chapter 1. It looks like a fun new take on Fortnite Reload.
Reload is a mini version of Battle Royale. A Royale featuring fewer players, where you can re-spawn for the first section of the game. A much bigger focus on gunplay than you’ll find in the typical BR games. There are already two maps. A Chapter 1 map, which has mini versions of quite a few major POIs. The second focused on the desert biomes we’ve seen over all Fortnite seasons. This third one definitely seems to resemble Chapter 2 though, down to a few iconic POIs. What are we expecting with the new C2 Fortnite Reload map?

New C2 Fortnite Reload Map Coming
We’ve only seen a few initial images of the map so far, but it clearly loos like it has a Chapter 2 feel. The map, similar to the first, is kind of like the first map as a shrunk down version of a BR island. There are quite a few of the big landmarks you’ll recognize.
Most notably, there’s Steamy Stacks off to one corner. The power plant that dominated the skyline in Chapter 2. Even the Lighthouse on the other side, a landmark which didn’t have much going on! Elsewhere, there seems to be quite a few of the other POIs you’ll recognize, like Salty Springs. These are all big parts of the original Chapter 2 map. Although, if it’s anything like the other two, the C2 Reload Map will have its own take on things.

The new footage of the map looks set to spice up Reload in coming weeks. We’ll likely expect some changes to come to the Fortnite Reload loot pool too. It’s going to arrive on April 15th, so players don’t have too long to wait until they jump in and try it.
