Need to know how to fix a stuck Zoi? There’s a button for that. The sheer number of variables needed for a game like InZOI to work means there’s a good chance a character can get lodged in the terrain, stuck behind furniture, or otherwise completely lost to the void. Here’s how to deal with that eventuality.
It’s important to remember that InZOI is in early access, and judging by the InZOI roadmap, it’s going to take a while before problems like this can be fixed. How to respawn stuck Zois
Using Emergency Rescue, you can respawn (or ‘unstuck’) a stuck Zoi in just a few clicks. To respawn a Zoi, click the Psicat Guide button in the bottom-right menu cluster. From there, click the Emergency Rescue button in the bottom-left corner.
This feature enables x-ray vision on the town, letting you spot Zois through the walls. You can only rotate the camera in this mode, so you’ll need to be close enough to the stuck Zoi to select them. Click on the stuck Zoi you want to respawn and you should get a pop-up window asking to confirm the move. It also acts as a disclaimer letting you know that forcing them to move can disturb the flow of the game.
If you’re done waiting for things to get better on their own, click Confirm. This exits the x-ray view and enables the focus camera on the selected character. They won’t be moved if the game speed is paused, so you’ll only see them respawn once gameplay resumes.
In the case of moving targets in a family, they seem to spawn on the path by a neighboring building. If you lose track of them, take control via the family roster on the right side of the screen (or cycling through with the Space bar) to shift your camera to their position.
