Once a game really gets going in Civilization, it can take quite a while to move all of your units around the map every turn, and Civilizaton 7 is no different in this regard. Particularly if you’re playing for a domination victory or involved in a war, it can take a long time to simply move everyone where you’d like them to be.

This can all be fixed by tweaking one setting: Quick Movement. With this toggled on, you’ll find that your turns take slightly less time, and over the course of an entire game, it’ll save you quite a few minutes without sacrificing anything regarding gameplay.
How To Turn Quick Move On
Turning on Quick Movement is relatively painless: go to ‘Options’ > navigate to the ‘Game’ tab > and toggle ‘Quick Movement’ on.
This can be done in the options on the main menu, or can be toggled on or off in the middle of an active game.
What Does Quick Move Do?
Quick Movement simply speeds up the animation of a unit’s movement. For instance, if you’re moving a scout a few tiles in a certain direction, instead of the scout walking along every tile until their destination, they’ll speed forward onto their destination almost instantaneously.
This might not make too much of a difference in the early game, but it makes a huge difference when fighting against another civilization, simply due to the sheer number of units that you’ll need to move, and how long it’ll take for all of them to actually move where they need to be.
One thing to note is that this does not noticeably speed up fighting animations. Combat is still going to take the same amount of time, though combat does already resolve fairly quickly in Civilization 7.
