When you’re choosing where your Zoi will live in InZoi, you’re limited by the starting amount of money you have, meaning some houses are automatically not an option as they’re too expensive. Even if you’re happy with your first home, as your Zoi family grows, you might want to move them somewhere bigger and better.

Fortunately, you’re not stuck living with your first choice home and you can move your Zois to somewhere better whenever you want. If you want to know how to do that or how to remove Zois from certain plots, here’s everything you need to know.
Inzoi is in Early Access and so the content is subject to change. We will update this guide as the gameplay changes.
How To Move House
Once you’re ready to move into a new home, go into your Smartphone and select ‘City Map’. On the City Map, you can then select a plot of land to choose ‘Relocate Here’.
You’ll have to pay the cost of the new home, but you’ll receive money based on the home you’re leaving.
For example, in the images above, buying 2008 Oakridge Drive costs 10,000, but the Zoi will get 20,609 for selling their current home.
Additionally, their profit increases to 55,000 if they choose to sell their furniture.

Empty Plots |
If you select an empty plot to move into, you have the option of storing/keeping your current furniture or selling it. You’ll then have to build your house after moving in. |

Empty Houses |
If you select an empty house, you can currently only purchase the property including the building and furniture. You can also choose to store or sell your current furniture. Note: In the future, after further development, you’ll also be able to purchase the property alone, or the building and property without furniture. |

Occupied Properties |
If you choose to relocate to a property that already has a family living there, they will automatically be relocated when you select it. You will then have the same options as if buying an empty house. |
How To Remove A Zoi Family From A Specific Plot
Even if you don’t intend to move new Zois into an occupied house, you may want to boot the current Zoi family regardless, whether to move them somewhere else or remove them entirely.
How To Relocate A Family
From the City Map, choose the home of the Zois you wish to remove from the house and choose the ‘Relocate’ option on the property card on the top left of the screen.
You can then choose which property you relocate them to by selecting it on the map.
How To Remove A Family
After choosing the property on the City Map, on the property card choose the ‘Dismiss’ option instead.
You cannot dismiss the family you are currently playing as.
Dismissing a family will cause all the relationships tied to that family to cease existing, though future updates intend to preserve this information.
Families are not deleted this way and can still be accessed via the Manage Family tab, under ‘All Families’. You can select an empty property and choose ‘Select Family’ to have any of your listed families move in.
Can I Move Zois Between Cities?
There is currently no way to move Zoi between cities, even if you dismiss them and hope to see them appear on the family list in the other city, they won’t be there, sadly. This may change in the future or become possible via cheats.
At present, your best bet is to ensure you save your custom Zois as preset and then create new families using these presets that can then be moved into the other city of your choice.
They won’t have the same experience as the others, but they’ll at least look the same.
