In InZoi, the rhetoric skill is primarily speech-focused, emphasizing how you interact with others in a professional sense. How high your rhetoric skill is translates into how well you make first impressions when meeting new people and how well you can carry a conversation–usually in regard to business.
It’s not always clear what applications this skill has, but it will naturally grow as your Zoi engages with the community. There are also ways you can hone your speechcraft to raise the rhetoric skill.
How To Increase The Rhetoric Skill
The rhetoric skill can be increased in several ways, from practicing alone at home to engaging with others and applying what you’ve learned. You can also read up on the skill for a technical application.
Below are the best ways to increase the rhetoric skill and how well the methods work:
Practice Speech In The Mirror
The best way to practice this skill without directly impacting your relationships is to use a mirror. Select the mirror and choose to practice your speech. Your Zoi will make their way to it and begin reciting lines of dialogue to improve the way they hold themselves during professional conversations.
You can do this multiple times so long as your Zoi’s needs are high, so make sure to keep them well rested and well-fed to speed up the process.
Meet New Zois
Nothing better than putting what you’ve learned into practice! Your Zoi can increase their rhetoric skill by introducing themselves to new people and discussing business matters, as well as giving life advice to other Zois.
Whether or not these topics are well-received depends on who you’re talking to, your relationship to them, their current mood, etc. It’s worth taking a stroll around community spaces, like the park, to forge new relationships and raise the rhetoric skill.
Reading Books About Rhetoric
Additionally, you can read books about leadership and communication to raise the rhetoric skill. Interact with a bookshelf, then select titles that indicate the subject matter is most likely rhetoric, like Power of Persuasion That Changes the World.
Reading books like this will slowly but surely increase your rhetoric skill and improve the odds of your Zoi holding stronger conversations in a professional setting.
