How To Get The Shark Cat In Roblox’s Kitten Game

Kitten Game is a Roblox game that allows you to play as a cat in tropical island environments, with a big mansion, a lot of places to explore, different games and the opportunity to discover new feline species. Since its launch in 2023, Kitten Game has become a fun and exciting place for cat lovers of all ages.

In Kitten Game, you can unlock the Shark Cat for free by completing a series of challenges. The Shark Cat is a cute and charming cat wearing a shark costume. To obtain it, follow these simple steps explained below.

How to Start the Mission to Obtain the Shark Cat

To start the mission and unlock the Shark Cat, the first thing you need to do is enter the Backrooms. To do this, you must go to the second floor of the mansion, locate the laundry room, and find the second washing machine.

The laundry room is located next to the main bedrooms, in the upper right section of the house, on the second floor. You can recognize the correct washing machine because the first one only plays a water-filling animation, while the second machine only has its door open.

To enter the Backrooms, simply step inside the open washing machine, and you will be transported to Level 1 of the Backrooms.

You can only enter the washing machine if you are using a small-sized character. If your character is too big to fit inside, you can equip a cat avatar, as they fit perfectly inside.

How to Navigate the Backrooms Maze

Inside the Infinite Corridors place, the first level of the Backrooms, you will find yourself in a maze of hallways, featuring the classic eerie Backrooms aesthetic. This area is divided into two sections, with a checkpoint marking the transition between them.

To complete the first part of the maze, start by moving to the right. Once there, continue advancing while sticking to the left wall. You will encounter several branching paths, but as long as you keep following the left-hand wall, you will reach the checkpoint quickly and efficiently.

First Checkpoint

You’ll know you’ve reached the checkpoint when you enter a gray room with brown-railed stairs that lead to nowhere and a laundry room. On the far-left side of the room, you’ll see the path leading to the second part of the maze.

Be careful! If you enter the washing machine in this room, you will be sent back to the mansion, forcing you to start over.

Navigating the Second Part of the Maze

In this second section, you will encounter a black cat patrolling the hallways. If it catches you, you will be sent back to the checkpoint and have to try again.

To get through this area easily:

1. Exit the checkpoint area and head right through the hallway.
2. Look for an office chair and continue straight to the end of the room until you reach the end. Look for a corridor that turns left. Ignore the other hallways.
3. Follow the left side of the corridor all the way until you reach another large room.
4. Repeat the same process, go to the end of the room and take the left hallway.
5. When entering the next large room, do a 360-degree turn to the wall on your right and take the second entrance on the left. This will lead you to the end of the maze and a safe zone where the black cat can no longer reach you. You can identify this room with the potion on the floor and some chairs around.

If the black cat catches you, it will scare you and send you back to the checkpoint. Don’t worry! You can retry as many times as needed until you succeed.

Unlocking the Black Cat Skin

Inside this second safe room, you will find a dark potion with black glowing effects lying on the ground. If you pick it up and drink it, you will unlock the Black Cat skin, allowing you to use it permanently in the game.

How to Find the Rubber Ducks in the Pools

Once you reach the end of the maze, head toward the dark area at the back of the room. This will take you to Ivory Place, the second level of the Backrooms, located in the pools. You will spawn in a room with showers and a small pool. Jump into the pool, swim across to the other side, and climb the stairs to continue.

In this area, you need to find four rubber ducks to progress.

First Rubber Duck

After crossing the first pool, you will see a large frame leading into a shallow pool. Walk all the way to the back of the room, passing through four frames. Once you reach the end, look to your right, and you will find the first rubber duck floating in the water.

After collecting it, a new path will open up where the room previously ended.

Second Rubber Duck

Follow the newly opened path until you reach the end of the corridor, then turn left. Here, you will see a small pool with water slides and cloud decorations on the walls. You will find the second rubber duck sitting on a chair by the pool.

Once you have collected the second duck, go back the way you came.

Third Rubber Duck

After backtracking, you will notice that a new passage has appeared in the corridor you used to enter the last room. Follow it straight, and you will arrive at a larger pool.

At the far end of the room, you will see a window that you can jump through. On the right side, after jumping across the window, you will find the third rubber duck.

Fourth Rubber Duck: Reaching the Last Room

After collecting the third rubber duck, jump into the pool. At the bottom, you will notice a deep hole. Swim through it, and you will be transported to a room with a couch and a lamp.

From here:

1. Walk through the corridor leading back to the pools.
2. Cross the next pool and go up the stairs.
3. Enter a large two-story pool area.
4. Jump down to the first floor, and you will find the final rubber duck behind you at the bottom.

Once you have collected all the rubber ducks, you are ready for the next step in unlocking the Shark Cat.

How to Find the Secret Door and Claim the Shark Cat

Once you have collected all four rubber ducks, you will finally be able to claim the Shark Cat skin. To do this, climb up one of the staircases on the left. Stay on the second floor and walk all the way to the back of the room. The second-to-last door will lead you to a small room, where you will see the Shark Cat costume floating in the water.

Don’t confuse the Shark Cat with the Game Pass that allows you to purchase both the Shark Cat and the Black Cat. If you claim the costume, the Shark Cat will be free in your inventory without needing to buy it.
