Understandably, many of you will have a lot of questions about the game and some of its mechanics, especially as it’s currently unfinished. We’ve compiled some of the most common questions and answers for you here.

As InZoi is currently in Early Access, the game and its mechanics will change over time, so we will update this guide as more information becomes available.

Is InZoi Free To Play?

InZoi is not free to play and will cost $39.99 in Early Access on Steam. However, all DLC and updates during the Early Access period will be free.

What Platforms Is InZoi Available On?

Currently, InZoi is only available for PC via Steam, but Krafton does aim to bring it to PlayStation 5 band Xbox Series X in the future.

Will There Be Multiplayer?

There are currently no multiplayer options, though Krafton is “currently considering” different features, such as meeting other players online or inviting them to your home.

Is There Controller Support?

There is no controller support currently, but Krafton aims to add this in the future. InZoi does run on Steam Deck but has not been officially optimised and so you may need to tweak some settings.

Can You Stop Zois From Aging Or Dying?

At present, you cannot stop your Zois from aging or dying. However, you can change the length of each day, prolonging their lives by making each digital day last for longer. Alternatively, you can shorten the days so that they age more quickly.

How Long Does Each Season Last?

Seasons last for a week. Once seven days have passed in-game, a pop-up will appear announcing the start of the next season. However, you can change the weather whenever you wish from the ‘City Decoration’ option in the ‘City Map’.

Is There Same-Sex Marriage?

Yes, two Zoi of any gender can get married. At present, you can only have a baby in a couple between a male Zoi and a female Zoi, but an adoption system is planned for the future.

How Many Zoi Can You Have In A Family?

You can have a maximum of eight Zoi per family.

Will There Be Pets?

At Early Access launch, there are no pets in the game currently, but Krafton has stated “Pets are a high priority for future updates but require extensive development for proper interactions”.

What Kind Of AI Is Used?

Krafton has stated on its Discord server, “All AI features within InZoi utilize proprietary models developed by Krafton and are trained using solely company-owned and copyright issue-free assets and data. In addition, InZoi’s AI capabilities are built in to the client as on-device solutions and therefore do not make communications online with external servers.”

In a live stream, Krafton unveiled some of its plans and showcased its upcoming roadmap. Though the plans are subject to change depending on player feedback, it gives us a good indication of what’s coming next.
