Fans already know that Dr. Stone’s season 4 will be the final one. Dubbed Science Future, the final season has been divided into two cours. The first cour began airing in January 2025 and, as expected, it received a positive response from viewers. After 12 episodes, it finally ended in March 2025.
Following the conclusion of the first cour, it didn’t take long to announce the release window for the next part. Dr. Stone Season 4 cour 2 is set to be released in July 2025. The second cour of Dr. Stone will likely have the same number of episodes as the first, so fans can expect it to run for 12 episodes, bringing the overall count to 24.

As previously stated, Dr. Stone Season 4’s first cour received positive reception from the audience. Some people had doubts about the show’s quality because TMS Entertainment was also working on Sakamoto Days, but midway through the two shows, most fans agreed that Dr. Stone had a better quality of animation.
In fact, there were constant debates all over social media about Sakamoto Days and how TMS Entertainment failed to create an anime that would live up to the expectations. Despite being marred by controversy, Sakamoto Days was among the most watched shows on Netflix.
Going back to Dr. Stone, it is safe to say that TMS Entertainment will be hoping to maintain the levels that it has set. Since it is the final season of the anime, fans will not tolerate any mishaps.
