But to make the most out of it, you need to know where to find each type of boss and what kind of loot they drop. You can trigger some fights with missions, while others require a bit more effort and even spending Yen. So, let’s break down how to spawn bosses and what kind of rewards you can obtain by defeating them.
Boss Spawn Locations
In Ghoul Re, you can meet two types of bosses: standard and raid bosses. Both are worth your time, but the way you find them differs significantly.
Standard Bosses
These are the most accessible fights and can be spawned via faction-based missions. If you’re a Ghoul, you will take missions to hunt CCG bosses. Similarly, if you’re with the CCG, you will be targeting Ghoul bosses. Head to your faction’s mission board and accept a boss mission. Once accepted, a yellow arrow will guide you to the boss’s location.
These enemies aren’t insanely difficult, but it’s a good idea to bring backup since enemy faction members may try to interfere.
There’s also a special type of mission called Bosses Fighting, where bosses from both factions spawn and fight each other. Your goal is to jump in, do damage, and survive. This can be easier overall since the bosses are distracted by each other.
Raid Bosses
These are the big leagues. To spawn a raid boss, you need 5,000 Yen and access to the Boss Raid NPC, located near the CCG building. After interacting with the NPC and paying, you will be teleported into a special arena where the boss fight begins.
You can bring up to seven friends with you, which we highly recommend since raid bosses are tanky, aggressive, and pack a serious battle. However, high stakes are generously rewarded, and by defeating the Raid Boss, you can get not only regular loot but also exclusive rewards if you’re lucky enough.
