Single player with a central hub just like Crash Team Racing which I found refined what Diddy Kong Racing did.
Another thing from CTR was the little things to do within races like the CTR tokens and the time relics which unlocked new courses later.
A course editor like what we saw in Modnation Racers
I’ll be amazed if they give us the same shit again and people let it slide, it’s about time they actually add onto the game in a meaningful way. The quality might be solid overall but it’s time the franchise expanded and doesn’t rely on one new gimmick (Double racers in one kart, the Wii steering wheel, gliders, anti-gravity tracks etc)
