The actuation point of these switches is set to 1.5mm with a full travel distance of 2.7mm. This lends itself well to gaming as the travel distance on a full-size switch is typically 4mm, you can fully press and depress the keys on the G915 quicker for a more responsive feel. It’s not quite as impactful as a feature such as rapid trigger, which allows you to repress a key almost as soon as you’ve released it, but it’s pretty close.
While low-profile boards are thin by nature, the 22mm enclosure thickness is truly impressive given there is an entire PCB and battery hidden away inside. It’s even more impressive when you consider the 30-hour battery life.
