Fortnite Reload Mythics are still part of the game! The Reload mode does strip things back a little more to focus on gunplay. While boss fights aren’t in here, Reload does have a few ways to get more powerful weapons. You’re not entirely at the mercy of just random loot!
Fortnite Reload generally features a loot pool that highlights the history of Fortnite. We get a mish mash of different Fortnite seasons and Chapter loot, often weapons which aren’t featuring in Battle Royale at the moment. That applies to Mythics too. There are Fortnite Reload Mythics, and they’re a mishmash of some of the more fun older Mythics we’ve seen. There are Mythic guns included from across the seasons, but the weapons aren’t unlocked in the standard way.
What are all the Fortnite Reload Mythics and how can you unlock them in each game?

These are all of the Fortnite Reload Mythics in the game at the moment! There’s a mixture of guns from past season’s right now, with a lot of the Chapter 3 in particular included:
- Slone’s Striker Burst Rifle
- Skye’s Assault Rifle
- Ocean’s Burst Assault Rifle
- Slone’s Burst Assault Rifle
- The Foundation’s MK-Seven Assault Rifle
- Midas’ Drum OG
- Gunnar’s Stinger SMG
- Jules Glider Gun
- Mythic Flopper
Some of these are particularly fun, like the Mythic MK. That gun isn’t featured in the game very often but it’s one of the most popular ARs we’ve ever had. The Mythics can even give the best Chapter 6 weapons a run for their money. How can you track them down though?
How to Get Fortnite Reload Mythics
The Fortnite Reload Mythics are a fun side of the game, but they aren’t unlocked in the standard way. You don’t take down bosses, or even raid a vault like the mthod to get the BR Mythis. These are just found in chests! Yeah, it’s all RNG.
Essentially you have a tiny chance of finding a Mythic at random when opening a chest. Or an even smaller chance of finding a whole chest full of Mythics and Reload Exotics. It’s not a big chance. Although, since players open a lot of chests, they’re bound to luck out eventually. They’re a little more common than you might expect.
What About The Fish?

Of course, there’s one item in the Fortnite Reload Mythics which particularly stands out. The Fortnite Mythic Flopper. This item actually lived up to its Mythical name when it was added back in Chapter 2. While it was in the game, the odds of randomly catching it were so low it made a lot of people doubt it was real.
In Fortnite Reload, the Mythic Goldfish is available. However, it also spawns out of chests and loot containers. You don’t have to go fishing or hundreds of hours to actually find one! Great since the old way of hunting for the Mythic flopper would massively inflate your time spent playing Fortnite compared to anything else.
