Kameyama Castle’s large area is home to five Samurai Daisho and plenty of loot.

We’ll take you through Nochiseyama Castle by using stealth to get you in and out of the area as Naoe without raising the alarm. While you can choose to tackle this area as Yasuke, his stealth skills pale in comparison to Naoe. Slashing your way through the castle with Yasuke’s powerful abilities is viable, but you’ll earn a wanted level and elongate your time in the castle.

Where Is Nochiseyama Castle?

Nochiseyama Castle is in the central Wakasa region, just south of Obama and northwest of the Onyu Pass.

The closest fast travel point is the Obama District Kakurega directly north.

How To Find & Assassinate The First Samurai Daisho

Nochiseyama Castle is unlike other locations as it doesn’t feature the same well-defined borders that most castles and forts do.

You’ll come across the entrance suddenly as soon as you run up the first incline toward the castle.

A guard at the first post will tell you off if he sees you approaching, but you can easily pretend to comply and then sneak along the right side to climb a wall and enter via a roof. From the roof, enter the northern courtyard, the first of this castle.

Unfortunately, you’ll find nobody of consequence and little to speak of, so run along the wall toward the south, then jump off and use the scaffolding in front of you to climb into the next courtyard.

In this courtyard, you’ll immediately see your target: the first Samurai Daisho.

While there are several guards in this courtyard, the Daisho is out of their view when he is closest to the wall, so assassinate him there while no guards are in sight and you can make a clean getaway.

How To Find & Assassinate The Second Samurai Daisho

Once you’re done with the first Daisho, progress further south toward the southern section, where you’ll have to pass through a small road.

Wait in the bush to see the guard patrolling this area’s patterns, then pass through into the higher elevated, southern courtyard by scaling the wall or using the stairs around the perimeter where more guards are patrolling.

The easiest route is to hug the right side as you progress south, avoiding the stairs and scaling the wall, then staying right and scaling the tower on the right side with your grappling hook.

When you arrive at the direct central courtyard, take a look around, and you’ll spot the second Samurai Daisho with a few guards in the courtyard, including one in the house.

The second Daisho patrols on a path that takes him through the courtyard and out onto an overlook.

He is easiest to kill when on the stone overlook, so watch the Daisho until he gets there, then quietly assassinate him while he stares out at the castle.

You should also take out the nearby guard after the Daisho to ensure he doesn’t turn and see what you’ve done.

How To Find & Assassinate The Third Samurai Daisho

After the second Samurai Daisho is defeated, continue progressing further south in Nochiseyama Castle.

Pass through the small area between courtyards toward the southern courtyard, where you’ll see a rocky wall you can scale, followed by the castle walls leading to the large Tenshu in the south.

Immediately in front of you when you enter the southern courtyard is a guard and the third Samurai Daisho. What luck.

There is a guard in the roofed area underneath your feet if you want to get rid of him; he’s isolated.

This southern courtyard is small and simple, so climb along the roof along the perimeter to get closer to the Daisho and follow the instructions below to get rid of this Daisho:

  1. When you’re close, look up, and you’ll see a grapple point – use it to get high above the third Daisho, but do not assassinate him from above.
  2. Jump down to the east side of the courtyard and double assassinate the two guards overlooking the area.
  3. Next, wait for the guard in front of the Daisho to leave on his patrol path.
  4. Run down and assassinate the Daisho, then wait in the hay bale or on the roof above for the guard to return.
  5. When the guard returns and investigates, assassinate him too, finishing this area.
