However, using Naoe’s incredible stealth skills and tools is an excellent alternative that will help you get in and out without raising an alarm. We’ll help you silently assassinate every Samurai Daisho in Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Kameyama Castle.

Where Is Kameyama Castle?

You’ll find Kameyama Castle in the southeastern section of Tamba in Kameyama, north of The Silver Lands.

The nearest fast travel point is the Kameyama Kakurega, south of the castle.

How To Find & Assassinate The First Samurai Daisho

Approach Kameyama Castle from the south side along the shore of the southwestern entrance.

From the entrance, head to the southwestern corner of the wall and jump from a small shed near the water’s edge onto the wall of the castle. Scale the wall and you’re in.

Observe your area from the nearby rooftop and take note of the guards in the area.

Look further northeast across the second water moat to spot the first Samurai Daisho in this inner-ring area. To reach the other side, circle to the southwest corner and take out the guard along the walkway next to the water.

From the spot where the guard stops, jump across onto some scaffolding on the water and climb it to get to the next southwestern courtyard along the castle’s inner ring.

When you reach this upper area, take care of the first guard you see, then climb the house to spot the first Samurai Daisho on the other side. Luckily, he’s all alone, so take him out as you see fit.

This Daisho is strong, so prepare to follow up with some regular attacks if you’re not able to kill him with just your assassination.

How To Find & Assassinate The Second Samurai Daisho

From the southwestern inner courtyard, go southeast and back across the water to the central southern section of Kameyama Castle.

In the southern courtyard, you’ll find the second Samurai Daisho.

This Daisho is all alone and unguarded in the southern courtyard, so you can just assassinate him and move on to the next.

How To Find & Assassinate The Third Samurai Daisho

From the southern courtyard, go to the far southeastern side of the castle and look north into a courtyard across the water where you’ll see the third Samurai Daisho.

From your position in the southeastern courtyard, dive directly into the water and emerge on the other side of the wooden dock area.

Creep up the stairs and wait for the third Samurai Daisho to face away before climbing onto the nearby roof.

From here you can see that there’s one guard overlooking the area where the Daisho is. If you shimmy around the wall and assassinate the guard while the Daisho isn’t looking, you’ll have a clear path to take him out.

How To Find & Assassinate The Fourth Samurai Daisho

From the eastern courtyard, proceed into the water in the center and aim north into the northeastern courtyard area. Use the scaffolding in the corner of the watery area to climb out, facing inward toward the center of the castle.

As soon as you emerge, you’ll be directly next to the fourth Samurai Daisho, who is patrolling a small path along the northeastern route.

Keep an eye on his movement by looking through the wall with Eagle Vision, then when he’s closest to you and facing away, poke out and assassinate him, taking care of the fourth Daisho.

Be prepared for a nearby guard to come investigate, but they’re easy to get rid of.

How To Find & Assassinate The Fifth Samurai Daisho

From the northeastern courtyard, head to the northern central courtyard to the top of the Tenshu to scout out the area.

From here, skirt around the edge of the castle to the northwest side and look further southwest to see the fifth and final Samurai Daisho waiting for you.

Be careful when taking out the guard on the way to the fifth Daisho, as others are nearby and may be alerted.

Move along the walls to the building overlooking the fifth Daisho’s courtyard, where a single large enemy also patrols while another guard digs nearby.

When the Daisho isn’t looking, jump down onto the wall nearer to him, then dangle and shimmy along it around the courtyard until you reach the side where the Daisho is all alone near the western wall.

Dangle here and use Eagle Vision to watch the Daisho’s movements.

When they reach the northwestern corner and face away, you can jump up and air assassinate the final Samurai Daisho, then flee the scene to the Legendary Chest.
