Fortnite Update Schedule Revealed

Chapter 6 Season 2 is not that old, but developers and leakers have already begun looking well into the future. Per HYPEX, a renowned leaker, the next few months of updates have already been confirmed.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is going to be very short per the leaked update schedule. It will launch on May 2, so the biggest update will happen that day. There will be two patches throughout the season, one on May 13 and another on May 27. Then, the season will end and the next update will be for the ensuing season.

Chapter 6 Season 4 begins on June 8 and will have three other updates following the launch update. The summer update arrives on June 17. The post-summer update to revert back to normal Fortnite arrives on July 15, so the summer event will be lengthy. The final Season 4 update will drop on July 29, so Season 5 (or Chapter 7) will come sometime in August or perhaps even September.

There will also be several Star Wars updates soon. On May 2, the Star Wars event will begin, and the update will be the same as the Season 3 launch. Then, May 15, May 29, and June 8 will see updates for the event, with the latter moving on from the crossover event and into Chapter 6 Season 4.

There will be downtimes for these updates, though most of them (excluding the seasonal changes on May 2 and June 8) will not be very long. These updates shouldn’t be massive, game-changing patches, so you can expect to be back online pretty soon once the updates are released.
