Everything You Need to Know about New Troop Training in Clash of Clans Clash Anytime

Army Recipe & UI Updates

Possibly the coolest of the new features is the Army Recipe system. Now you aren’t just saving a group of troops – you can save the entire configuration. That means your heroes, pets, and even clan castle requests, all at once.

The new UI looks really sharp too. The company has folded up the troop cards so you can see more than seven troops at a glance without having to scroll and scroll and scroll. It’s not much but it’s one change that’s making it so much easier to control your armies.

Donation System Revamp

With the elimination of training time, donating troops has gotten a new twist. Now, rather than waiting around for troops to be trained, you’ll have to utilize your resources – Elixir for Elixir troops and Dark Elixir for the others.

Gem donations remain the same, but overall the general idea is to keep things in check so that you can donate on the fly to your clan members. Also, the donation timer was reduced to ten minutes for all players. Gold Pass players even have a nice perk where they can ask every two minutes, making it more convenient to maintain the rhythm with your clan’s attacks.

Well, Supercell will continue releasing fun upgrades, but if you wonder whether your device needs an upgrade while the game continues to get heavier, here’s Clash of Clans size & system requirements.

Spam Attack Prevention & Cloud Matchmaking

Another significant adjustment is what they’re referring to as Spam Attack Prevention. Essentially, if you log out during a fight, your soldiers will continue fighting until the fight is completed. This is intended to prevent any abuse of the bots and maintain fairness.

And, with the new Match Anytime server technology, when there are not sufficient live bases to attack, you’ll be dealt “snapshot bases.” That’s bases taken from players in shield, so while you can still accrue trophies and loot, the defender does not lose trophies. It’s a nice way of ensuring you always had targets, even when everyone’s online at the same time.

Trophy Adjustments and Update Timeline

To further balance out the gameplay, the update also introduces changes to trophy gains. Those who achieve one- or two-star wins will receive fewer trophies, so you won’t inadvertently jump too high into Legend League. And yes, Legend League itself has no major redesign this time around – they’re reserving that for future updates.

And for those concerned about resources, don’t be; training potions are refunding as Gems when the update drops. Supercell hopes to have this update rolling out by the end of the week, just in time for the new season.

Clash Anytime is a significant step by Supercell to bring Clash of Clans into the modern era and eliminate some of the outdated pain points, such as waiting around for your troops to train. Now with that out of the way, here are the top hero gear in Clash of Clans you can begin training with immediately.
