Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Varesa
You can significantly increase the overall damage dealt by Varesa if you use one of these weapons on her in Genshin Impact.
Iansan is a four-star Electro support unit that buffs your team by giving them tons of ATK on the condition that your team keeps moving. As a support, Iansan will need a hefty amount of Energy Recharge to ensure you Burst every rotation, as well as tons of ATK to fully cap her buff. Keeping that in mind, here are the best weapons for Iansan to ensure she gets everything she needs to coach your team properly!
8
Prototype Starglitter
Craftable Four-Star
Prototype Starglitter is one of the first weapons you can add to your account by crafting it using weapon billets. It’s a relatively weak weapon, but boasts a strong substat that many, including Iansan, can make great use of.
Prototype Starglitter is simply an Energy Recharge statstick and nothing else. The passive is useless, the ATK not all that great, and it’s a weapon you should switch away from whenever able. Still, it does a solid job of fulfilling Iansan’s Energy needs, which is the most important thing for a good Iansan.
7
The Catch
Free Four-Star From Fishing
It’s impossible to mention any character with Energy Recharge needs and not mention The Catch. While it’s certainly much better on off-field DPS characters, the Energy Recharge substat is still useful, and it being completely free means that it’s more desirable than gacha options with similar statlines.

Properly equip one of the best heavy-hitters in Genshin Impact by giving Diluc the right weapons.
Furthermore, while Iansan doesn’t deal too much damage, it’s still more than characters like Xilonen. This means that Iansan can still make use of the CRIT Rate and DMG Bonus gained from The Catch’s passive to increase her own damage while also making use of the ER substat to fulfill her Energy Recharge needs.
6
Moonpiercer
Craftable Four-Star
Moonpiercer is one of Genshin Impact’s only completely free-to-play weapons, unlocked through forging as one of Sumeru’s craftable weapons. It has a decent Elemental Mastery substat, but that’s almost completely useless on Iansan. Instead, what makes this a good weapon for Iansan teams is the passive.
Whenever Iansan triggers any Dendro reaction, this grants a party member increased ATK. This makes it Iansan’s strongest polearm in Kinich teams, where this works as an added buff ontop of her already absurd ATK buffs from her Burst.
5
Tamayuratei no Ohanashi
Event Four-Star
We’ve established the two stats Iansan needs the most of as being Energy Recharge and ATK. Fortunately, one of the free event weapons grants more of these two than many gacha weapons, solidifying it as one of Iansan’s best weapons despite not requiring any investment at all.

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Xiangling
Xiangling is an easy to get four-star character who has huge potential when given the right weapon.
The Tamayuratei no Ohanashi, also called the event fire polearm, is a weapon that grants Energy Recharge with its substat. Furthermore, it increases your ATK after using your Elemental Skill. Since Iansan’s playstyle involves using your Elemental Skill before using your Burst to catch the particles anyway, this synergizes perfectly with her kit, helping you reach the max cap on Iansan’s buff while also helping her Energy Recharge.
4
Calamity Queller
Five-Star
Iansan is often compared to Bennett due to both of them being extremely strong four-stars that buff allies’ ATK stats. However, one difference you may overlook is that Bennett’s buff scales only from his base ATK, whereas Iansan’s is based on her total ATK.
Base ATK refers to only the weapon granted by your weapon’s main stat, ignoring all artifact rolls, as well as other methods of ATK.
This means weapons that grant ATK percent substats help you reach the max ATK required to fully charge up her buff even quicker. Among the many weapons that grant an ATK percent substat, any can work, but Calamity Queller grants the most ATK of any other polearm in the game. ATK percent weapons still won’t be as great as Energy Recharge ones, but so long as you can fulfill your Energy Recharge needs in other ways, such weapons can be viable alternatives.
3
Skyward Spine
Standard Five-Star
Skyward Spine has always been a decent weapon that’s never the best option. In Iansan’s case, it’s no different. It’s a good weapon that fulfills her Energy Recharge needs while still offering relatively higher base ATK to help her reach her buff cap more easily.

Genshin Impact: Best Weapons For Tighnari
These bows will compliment Tighnari’s playstyle and help you get the best out of the dendro five-star.
The passive is almost completely useless on Iansan, but it’s still one of her best weapons purely based on stats alone. The reason behind this is that, like many other supports, Iansan’s damage isn’t worth specifically building for it, and there just aren’t many polearms like Fav Lance that give extra effects to your team.
2
Engulfing Lightning
Five-Star
The Engulfing Lightning is one of the strongest polearms for any character that requires their Elemental Burst to make full use of their kit. However, where most of these are off-field DPS characters like Xiangling, Iansan also ends up benefitting a lot more from this weapon than you may initially think.
Engulfing Lightning gives one of the highest Energy Recharge substats in the game, already making it one of Iansan’s strongest weapons. Additionally, it grants the equipping character extra ATK based on how much Energy Recharge you have. This means you get double value from each point of ER, letting you reach that sweet 2.7k ATK for max buff potency that much easier without sacrificing any Energy Recharge.
1
Favonius Lance
Four-Star
Iansan reaches her ATK threshold for maximum buff potency fairly easily, even without ATK passives being taken into account. Furthermore, since her damage is only a small portion of the team’s overall DPS, this means losing out on her personal damage isn’t that big an issue, so long as you can reap benefits some other way.

These two things make it so Iansan’s uncontested best-in-slot weapon in any team that requires Energy is the Favonius Lance. With its ability to grant tons of Energy to your team, you can now build more aggressive stats on your hypercarry instead of Energy Recharge. This increases their damage a lot more than whatever Iansan is able to contribute personally to the team DPS.
