Assassin’s Creed Shadows: The Godai Shinobi Walkthrough

Assassin's Creed Shadows: The Godai Shinobi Walkthrough

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is practically overflowing with criminal organizations and enemy groups for Naoe and Yasuke to obliterate. All throughout the game, you’ll be unlocking new circles in the Objectives menu, each filled with targets to locate. One such group, the Godai Shinobi, is acquired roughly halfway through the game. Given as a side mission by Katsuhime’s father Shotei, this group of former students is actively working to undermine Naoe. As they are well hidden around the map, this guide will provide the location of each student, showing where to find all five Godai Shinobi in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Complete Requiem for Rokkaku:

To unlock “The Godai Shinobi” side-quest and organization wheel, you’ll first need to sit down and chat with Shotei and Katsuhime in “Requiem for Rokkaku.” This quest acts as a sort of epilogue to the search for The Naginata, the Shinbakufu member in Omi. After fully completing The Naginata’s questline, Shotei will be added to the “People of Omi” wheel in the objectives menu. “Requiem for Rokkaku” will be available immediately following.

You will not have to complete any tasks in this mission, as it is purely meant to set up Naoe’s relationship with Katsuhime, which can lead to her joining the League as an ally, as well as one of AC Shadows’ possible romantic relationships (Naoe & Katsuhime). During the chat, Shotei will give Yasuke a Legendary Bow, and will present the player with a list of former students to track down, initiating “The Godai Shinobi.”

ASC-Start-Godai-Shinobi

Each of the five Godai Shinobi is named after an element – i.e. wind, water, fire…etc. You can start anywhere on the wheel, but make sure to check the recommended level, as they are not the same for each. If you are over the base recommended level, the Godai Shinobi will scale with you.
