After players unlock the Spectro and Havoc Rover in Wuthering Waves, the next available element to unlock is Aero Rover. Compared to the Spectro and Havoc counterparts, Aero Rover is more similar to the Spectro version. Like Spectro Rover, Aero Rover can heal and deal Elemental DoT; they’re not a DPS like Havoc Rover.
Aero Rover is actually a decent DPS and healer. From their abilities and scaling, it looks like the Aero Rover is going to be slightly below the meta characters when it comes to DMG and teams. That doesn’t mean they’re bad; they just haven’t found the character that will elevate their utility yet. So, until there are proper teammates for Aero Rover, here are some of the best teams for Aero Rover in Wuthering Waves for players to try.

Best Teams For Aero Rover In Wuthering Waves
Since Aero Rover doesn’t have an exclusive team right now, you can team them with an already established pair, like Jiyan and Mortefi in Wuthering Waves. Mortefi coordinates his attacks with Jiyan while massively increasing his Heavy attacks. On the other hand, Jiyan will collect enemies around him while enjoying all the support and DMG Mortefi is offering.
As for the Aero Rover, they’ll increase Jiyan’s DMG while increasing the team’s sustainability through their healing effects. It’s still not ideal as Jiyan can have a much better healer and buffer in his team, but that’s the only place that Aero Rover can add their small weapon buff. Sadly, since Aero Rover works best as an Aero support, other than Jiyan, there’s no one for Rover to lift up. As of version 2.2, other Aero characters are Aalto, Yangyang, and Jianxin, all of which are support Resonators.
Currently, there’s barely any character that has a DoT gameplay. So, Rover can’t really trigger the effect of Gusts of Welkin Echo set nor their own Resonance and Outro Skills. All these passive effects aim to make the Aero Rover an amazing support for an upcoming character that can generate a lot of the Aero Erosion DoT effects.
Apart from benefiting from Aero Erosion, Aero Rover can also replace other elemental DoT with Aero Erosion stacks, meaning he can focus all DoT into the Aero type. Because of this, you can team Aero Rover with Phoebe just for fun, to keep swapping all her Spectro Frazzle stacks with Aero Erosion. Of course, Phoebe will not benefit from any of Aero Rover’s buffs, nor will she be able to add anything to their kit, outside of her ability to generate Spectro Frazzle. It’s simply the only place Aero Rover can mess around with the DoT debuff.
