Varesa is a strong main DPS who relies on her Plunge attacks to deal DMG in Genshin Impact. Unlike Xiao, Varesa has easy access to her Plunge attacks. Simply cast her Elemental Skill or Charge attack to launch Varesa in the air, and then she can easily use her Plunge attack.
As a limited 5-star character in Genshin Impact, it’s not easy to obtain Varesa herself, let alone her Constellations. So, for players who are willing to pull for Varesa multiple times and collect her Constellations, it’s important to know if it’s worth it or not to pull for Varesa’s Constellations in Genshin Impact.

Are Varesa’s Constellations Worth It In Genshin Impact?
No, Varesa’s Constellations are not worth it in Genshin Impact, especially since she’s already sufficient at C0. While all her Constellations focus on buffing and improving her Plunge attacks, they do so slowly, and you won’t feel the difference until you reach her sixth Constellation. Once you open all Constellations, Varesa will gain an insane amount of extra DMG, but at an insane cost as well.
If you’re determined to get some of Varesa’s Constellation, then it’s best to stop at C2 if not going all the way to C6.
C1 – Undying Passion
Effect |
The effects of the Passive Talent “Tag-Team Triple Jump!” are enhanced: When performing the Special Plunging Attack “Thunderous Tornado Eruption,” Varesa will also gain “Rainbow Crash” for 5s. When “Rainbow Crash” is in effect, Varesa’s Plunging Attack ground impact DMG is increased by 180% of her ATK, whether she is in the Fiery Passion state or not. You must first unlock the Passive Talent “Tag-Team Triple Jump!” to access the above effect. Additionally, when Varesa is in the Sudden Onrush mode of her Nightsoul’s Blessing, she consumes 30% less Nightsoul points or Phlogiston. |

Importance |
Low |
The first Constellation for Varesa adds an extra DMG to her Plunge attacks, which is not bad but not really groundbreaking. Having an extra 180% DMG on every Plunge attack is not really worth it.
C2 – Beyond the Edge of Light
Effect |
Varesa will enter Apex Drive after using a Plunging Attack, regardless of whether she is in the Fiery Passion state or not. When Apex Drive is active, Varesa’s interruption resistance will also further increase. Additionally, Varesa will restore 11.5 Energy when her Plunging Attack ground impact hits an opponent. |

Importance |
High |
C2 Varesa allows her to stay in the Apex Drive state as long as she keeps Plunge attacking enemies. Not only that, but she also restores a decent amount of Energy on every Plunge, which notably increases how frequently she can cast her Elemental Burst in her Apex Drive State. The second Constellation of Varesa greatly improves her DMG and allows her to stay on the field for longer durations without losing DPS.
C4 – The Courage to Press On
Effect |
Varesa will receive various buffs based on her state when using her Elemental Burst Guardian Vent! If Varesa:

Importance |
Medium |
C4 Varesa also adds a lot of DMG to her Plunge attacks, which is good for her kit. However, as a fourth Constellation, you’re risking a lot of pulls and Standard banner 5-star characters to have Varesa’s Elemental Burst buffed by 100% increased DMG. Yes, the first part is nice, but Varesa can’t frequently trigger it, or else this Constellation is a priority to unlock for Varesa in Genshin Impact.
C6 – A Hero of Justice’s Triumph
Effect |
Varesa restores 30 Energy when she enters Apex Drive. Her Plunging Attacks and Elemental Burst Guardian Vent! Gain 10% CRIT Rate and 100% CRIT DMG. Additionally, when Varesa uses the Hold version of her Elemental Skill Riding the Night-Rainbow, or Taps her Elemental Skill while in the Sudden Onrush mode, she will restore Nightsoul points up to her maximum. |

Importance |
Priority |
Varesa heavily relies on her Plunge attacks to deal DMG in Genshin Impact. A Constellation that buffs Varesa’s Plunge attacks and Elemental Burst by adding more Crit value to them is always going to be a priority. Not only that, but on C6, Varesa will regenerate the full amount of energy needed to spam her Elemental Burst when she enters her Apex Drive state. Remember that C2 Varesa already enters the Apex Drive state every time she Plunge attacks, which makes Varesa able to cast her Elemental Burst after every single Plunge. That’s an insane amount of extra DMG for Varesa’s kit in Genshin Impact.
