Atocpan is a new area of Genshin Impact, released in version 5.5. With the new region, it is no surprise that Travelers will also be getting a new local specialty. One of the new materials around Atocpan is called Skysplit Gembloom, and players can find them near cracked ground around the volcano.
Skysplit Gembloom, like every other local specialty, will respawn 46 hours after it is harvested. Travelers who urgently need the plants can also visit another player’s world and ask for the materials. A total of 168 Skysplit Gembloom is required to level up a character to the maximum in Genshin Impact.

Skysplit Gembloom Locations in Genshin Impact
Skysplit Gembloom is an exclusive local specialty for the Natlan region, specifically in Atocpan and Ancient Sacred Mountain. A total of 74 Skysplit Gemblooms can be farmed in the new map.
The first location you should go for farming these plants is near the lava pool by the waypoint northeast of Collective of Plenty in Genshin Impact. Once you arrive at the waypoint, head north, and you can immediately see the first two Skysplit Gemblooms. After that, turn around and walk along the cliffs near the pool to the next eight Skysplit Gemblooms.
Most of them are in patches near each other, so it’s easy to spot them, but it will be better if you bring along a character that can mark the resources in Natlan on the mini-map, like Kinich.
The northwest of Collective of Plenty also has abundant Skysplit Gembloom, specifically around the pathway in Fallingstar Fields. After you use the waypoint in this area, three Skysplit Gemblooms can be seen on the southwest of Fallingstar Fields and another five on the northern side. Once you collect all of them, warp to the waypoint far northwest of Fallingstar Fields and head east towards a small space between the two mountains for another three Skysplit Gemblooms.
Afterward, use the teleport waypoint southwest of Remnants of Tetenanco and head west towards a hidden area guarded by Pulverite rocks. You can move past these rocks by destroying them using Tatankasaurus’s sprinting, or jump across them using Yumkasaurus in Genshin Impact. In fact, you can also walk around the boulder beside the Pulverites to reach the area hidden inside. Collect five Skysplit Gemblooms in this area and climb upwards for another six of them.
There are some enemies in the lower area near the previous Pulverite rocks, and it’s best to defeat them first before collecting these local specialties.
Another spot to harbor Skysplit Gembloom in Atocpan is near the waypoint far west of Remnants of Tetenanco. Two of them can be found on the south side near a platform, while the remaining five are on the north.
Far southwest of Atocpan is a small island that can be reached by indwelling a Koholasaurus near the shore of the new artifact domain called Derelict Masonry Dock. After activating the waypoint on this island, two Skysplit Gembloom can be seen on the east of the waypoint, while another eight of them are planted near each other by the coast.
Once you collect every Skysplit Gembloom in Genshin Impact’s Atocpan, you can move to Ancient Sacred Mountain. This map can be unlocked after you start the Chronicler of the Crumbling City Quest Chain, starring the little Tepetlisaurus. There, warp to the waypoint northeast of Sea of Shifting Sentience and turn around for two Skysplit Gemblooms. Then, walk across the bridge for the next three of this plant. Afterwards, keep heading northeast for the last three Skysplit Gembloom in this area.
Now, teleport to a waypoint southeast of the Sea of Shifting Sentience. The Skysplit Gemblooms in this location are near each other, so as long as you can keep an eye out on the road, you can see each plant around the area.
The last spot to harvest Skysplit Gembloom in Genshin Impact is in the Flame-Melding Ritual Grounds. Warp to the waypoint west of this island to find three Skysplit Gemblooms in the area. Afterward, follow the path towards the center of the island for another six of these local specialties.
