Fortnite Festival has landed on its next artist. Every time there’s a new season of that mode, a new battle pass arrives with songs and cosmetics themed around a featured artist. This person’s songs are also featured in the Item Shop. They are the most prominent artist of that season, and for the upcoming season, one pop star finally got the nod.

Fortnite Festival is Getting Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter is next up for Fortnite Festival. The “espresso” singer has already been featured in Fortnite with some songs and a couple of emotes, but now she’ll have her own Icon Series skin, too. Her latest emote, which used “espresso” was the subject of some controversy. It was briefly removed from the Item Shop to fix the audio after players complained.
According to the leak, the new season of Festival mode will begin on April 8. That’s when Carpenter will supplant Hatsune Miku. Carpenter is the latest in a long line of iconic artists who’ve headed up the Festival mode. The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Metallica, Hatsune Miku, Snoop Dogg, Karol G, and Billie Eilish have all had their turn on the pass and in the game.
In the past, Festival artists have had multiple skins. For example, both Lady Gaga and The Weeknd had unique skins in the battle pass. Their Item Shop skins were different. They were initially tabbed as “exclusive” to the Festival pass. However, with exclusivity gone now, the red suit The Weeknd, for example, dropped in the shop eventually. You can expect one day for the Festival Carpenter skin to do the same.
There will also be an influx of her songs and some emotes. Her old emotes will return to the shop, but she’ll also get new ones. Songs like “nonsense”, “Juno”, and more could end up in the game here in the next couple of weeks.
