One World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Feature Has a Secret Use

One World of Warcraft Patch 11.1 Feature Has a Secret Use

Summary

  • Use C.H.E.T.T. Lists in WoW to boost Goblin faction reputation, not just earn more Valorstones.
  • Trade completed C.H.E.T.T. Lists for 500 Faction Reputation at Cartel quartermasters after they turn in two using the typical method.

World of Warcraft fans can exchange completed C.H.E.T.T. Lists for reputation with one of the four major Cartels after they turn in two using the typical method. Though this feature’s secret use is not immediately obvious, World of Warcraft players should know that they can use these C.H.E.T.T. Lists to increase their reputation with the Goblin factions, rather than simply earning more Valorstones.

The Undermine(d) content update is well underway, allowing WoW fans to earn reputation with the Cartels of Undermine Renown faction, as well as the four Cartels themselves: Bilgewater, Blackwater, Steamwheedle, and Venture Company. Those who raise their Cartels of Undermine Renown to tier 13 unlock the C.H.E.T.T. List, a weekly checklist of activities that can be turned in for 250 Valorstones when completed.

World of Warcraft is making a big change to one paid game service in the near future that will benefit players and change the Battle.net shop forever.

However, there is a secret use for C.H.E.T.T. Lists that isn’t immediately obvious. Once players turn two of these completed lists into C.H.E.T.T. on the second floor of the Incontinental Hotel, they will earn the C.H.E.T.T.ing It Twice Achievement. From then on, the quartermaster of the Cartel they are signed with that week offers a Finder’s Fee, which awards 500 Reputation with the faction in exchange for a completed C.H.E.T.T. list.

WoW Patch 11.1 C.H.E.T.T. List Reputation Turn-Ins

Fans can get one free C.H.E.T.T. List every week, though they can obtain an extra list in exchange for 40 C.H.E.T.T. Cards, dropped by enemies and rare spawns around the World of Warcraft zone of Undermine or within the Side Street Sluice Delve. Additionally, using C.H.E.T.T. Lists in this way does not count towards the C.H.E.T.T. Mate achievement, which requires one to turn in 100 lists in the usual method.

Earning reputation with C.H.E.T.T. Lists is a worthwhile option, as Valorstones lose their value as players progress through a WoW season, while Cartel reputation is somewhat limited by weekly tasks. The game does not mention this new use for C.H.E.T.T. Lists anywhere, so fans should be sure to visit their Cartel quartermaster, unless they still need the Valorstones.

It is important to note that C.H.E.T.T. Lists cannot be redeemed with Darkfuse Solutions LLC, the secret fifth cartel in World of Warcraft Patch 11.1. That said, Market Research can be obtained through most activities in Undermine, so players can raise their reputation with the hidden faction while completing their C.H.E.T.T. Lists or farming C.H.E.T.T. Cards.
