The Lands Under the Sea Secret Lair takes players to various locations like the Plains showcasing Jellyfish Fields or the Swamp showing off Rock Bottom. Each of the five lands is unique and really captures the feel of the show.

The nice thing with this Secret Lair is that it comes with two of each basic land, which is an increase from other basic land Secret Lairs. You might only need to pick up one or two of these to get enough lands for a deck, especially since on the secondary market, these lands are bound to spike in price.

Magic: The Gathering – 10 Most Valuable Sol Rings

Sol Ring is one of the most popular Magic: The Gathering cards around, and there are some pretty pricey ones you can add to your deck.

Counterspell being the mocking SpongeBob meme is absolutely perfect, and you can be tons of people will be following it up with a “I cAsT oMnIsCiEnCe” immediately afterward. While not everyone is going to love these cards, they’re great for what they are.

  • 1x Reversible Anje Falkenrath
  • 1x Reversible Chulane, Teller of Tales
  • 1x Reversible Radha, Heart of Keld

Throw on the nostalgia goggles ‘cause this Secret Lair takes you back to the far-off year of 1987 with a high school yearbook-style drop. There are only four cards in this Secret Lair, and not one of the legendary creatures in it are particularly valuable but they are very fun and if you run them as your commander, you’ll want to pick up a few of these.

The front of each of these features an amazing stylized card with artwork from Stephen Andrade, while the back is a delightful mess of squiggles and funky shapes with high school text and all their abilities, designed by Scott Okumura.

  • 1x Hedron Crab

This is a bit of a hard Secret Lair to pin down, mostly because of those five sticker sheets. This Secret Lair features art from Rian Gonzales and the cards picked are delightful, filled with bright colors and popping artwork, the real treasure is from the sticker sheet.

See, Magic has only released a few sticker sheets during the Unfinity run, but this Secret Lair introduces brand new sticker sheets with special artwork from Gonzales. Pitiless Plunderer and Hedron Crab are particularly worthwhile in this set, since they’re hard to track down normally.

5

Tragic Romance

  • 1x Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon
  • 1x Kaalia of the Vast
  • 1x Angel of Despair

Illustrator Abigail Larson gets her own Secret Lair drop with the Tragic Romance collection, a four-card drop that tells a story of forbidden romance across each card. Two legendary creatures are at the center of this drop, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Kaalia of the Vast.

Larson definitely dove into the romantasy elements of the two, and according to the description of the drop, this is all part of a custom fanfiction that the art director put together and had Larson illustrate.

1

Garden Buds

Value: $32.19

  • 1x Ashaya, Soul of the Wild
  • 1x Elvish Reclaimer
  • 1x Harrow
  • 1x World Shaper
  • 1x Horn of Greed

This neat Secret Lair is all about lands and green spells, centered around Ashaya, Soul of the World. Each card here features artwork from Jordan Crane, and breaks traditional formatting rules to tell a story in each card.

These cards are all solid choices, with Ashaya, Soul of the World being a popular commander pick, both as the commander and in the 99 since she makes all your creatures into lands as well. To pair with her, you have Horn of Greed, which lets you draw cards when you have lands, now your creatures, come into play.
