Steam Early Access is now available for the action-adventure RPG Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. Developed by Netmarble, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad tells an original story inspired by the HBO Original drama series Game of Thrones. Players can immerse themselves in the world, make meaningful choices, and shape their own journey.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad will launch on PC via Steam and Windows Launcher, as well as on iOS and Android devices in 2025. While Netmarble has yet to confirm a release date, those who pre-register will get a special in-game reward. Ahead of its official release, players can check out the game in Early Access by purchasing the Founder’s pack on Steam, which provides a variety of in-game perks, along with advanced access to the game.
Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Pre-Registration
This sprawling open-world adventure encourages players to explore Westeros, ranging from King’s Landing to the towering Wall, and includes fan-favorite characters such as Jon Snow and Cersei Lannister, as well as notorious ones like Ramsay Bolton and Petyr Baelish. Of course, there are plenty of dangers in the world too, ranging from White Walkers and aggressive wildlings to beasts like the legendary Ice Spider and Stormhorn Unicorn. To combat these, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad features three playable classes: Assassin, Sellsword, and Knight. Each class is inspired by archetypes present in the iconic series.
As players progress through the story, they’ll learn more about the various threats that plague the Seven Kingdoms. By taking up the mantle of the game’s protagonist in the sprawling narrative and participating in mythic events and unlocking Weirwood visions, players can take a deep dive into the rich lore of the Game of Thrones universe while forging their own path and ultimately influencing the fate of the Seven Kingdoms. There’s also the Altar of Memories mode, which lets players group up to defeat mythical creatures like the griffins that once preyed on the Westerlands and the unicorns that inhabit the forbidden island of Skagos. Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is perfect for fans of the HBO Original drama series Game of Thrones, where they will have the opportunity to explore Westeros, encounter familiar characters, solve challenges, and gradually forge their own unique path and purpose.
