Dr. Garrow is a curmudgeonly scientist you can rescue in Atomfall who is largely responsible for what happened in the quarantine zone. She tends to be a bit rude when speaking to you, and she refuses to answer most of your questions. That being said, it may be worth working with her as she offers you a way out of this terrible place.

How To Solve The St. Katherine’s Church Lead In Atomfall
There’s been a murder in Atomfall in the military-occupied town of Wyndham Village. Here’s how to solve it.
To get Dr. Garrow’s ending, you’ll need to jump through a few hoops to give her what she wants. But the big question is, how trustworthy is she? And will she actually help you in the end?
How To Find Dr. Garrow In Atomfall
You first need to find Dr. Garrow if you want to get her ending. She’s found in Skethermoor Prison, which is in Skethermoor at the coordinates 41.1 E, 70.8 N. Saving her will also score you the Signal Redirector, which will be necessary to continue her questline. After she’s been freed from jail, she’ll run off and be found later in the Central Processor room inside The Interchange.
When you talk to her next, she’ll be evasive about her identity and her involvement in the events within the quarantine zone. She will offer to give you some real answers and an escape route if you can retrieve her research notes. These will be down in the Robot Maintenance section of the Robotics department of The Interchange.
This task won’t be easy as there are B.A.R.D. Robots wondering about that will attack you on sight, so bring plenty of weapons, ammo, and healing items.
How To Access The Casterfell Dam Data Store In Atomfall
After you hand Dr. Garrow her research notes, she’ll have another job for you. You’ll need to travel to the Casterfell Dam and access an offline data facility called the Casterfell Dam Data Store. She’ll mark the location on your map, give you the Dam Data Store Keycard, and tell you to enter in the command GEN ERA on the computer console inside.
If you meet Joyce Tanner, she will also want the data stored at the Casterfell Dam Data Store. She will give you the command GEN MOVE to enter into the computer. If you use this command instead, Dr. Garrow will turn hostile, and you can no longer pursue her ending.
Head to the Casterfell Dam Data Store. When you get inside, there will be a B.A.R.D. Robot armed with a flamethrower patrolling the building. It’s possible to sneak around to reach the computer console, but it’s better to just take it out. Aim for its gas tanks and the flamethrower on its arm to bring it down. Then, remove its Atomic Battery when it ejects out of its back.
Now we need to access the computer, but it will have no power. Look for the Electrical Room, which is up some stairs. Open the door using the Dam Data Store Keycard on the card reader. There will be an electrical box with a yellow light that you can use the Signal Redirector on.
Reroute the power, but be careful exiting the electrical room as redirecting the power will activate a sentry turret on the wall. Go around the turret to find another electrical box on the right side. Use the Signal Redirector again on this box to redirect the power and turn off the turret. This will activate two doors and summon a horde of rats. Use a melee weapon or Explosive Lures to deal with them.
The rooms that have been activated will contain multiple Training Stimulants, which grant the player skill points. So explore these rooms before you leave the Casterfell Dam Data Store.
Look up at the ceiling to find another electrical box. You’ll need to hop on some crates and climb up onto some of the old computer servers to reach the box with your Redirector. Reroute the power, and another sentry turret will activate.
Avoid being spotted by the turret’s laser and go up the stairs next to it to find the last electrical box. Use the Signal Redirector on it to gain access to the Control Room. There will be an upper level where you can use the Dam Data Store Keycard on a card reader. Do that, and power will be restored to the facility, including the computer.
Access the computer, and you’ll have the option to look at the data stored on it. Most of the data will be redacted, but there will be some tidbits of lore you can discover.
When you’re done snooping, choose the option that says “Run command GEN ERA.” The computer will ask if you wish to proceed, so say yes, and all the data in this facility will be scrambled. It turns out that Garrow sent you here to erase sensitive data that she didn’t want the public to know about.
Can You Trust Dr. Garrow To Help You Escape In Atomfall?
After being tricked into destroying all that data, it’s easy to distrust Dr. Garrow. However, she will allow you to ask her questions, and she will answer them for the most part. She will then tell you she can offer you an escape, but will have one final, difficult task for you.
You need to reach Oberon, the giant meteorite responsible for the infection plaguing the quarantine zone, and you will have to bring back a sample of it to Dr. Garrow. Furthermore, you must not harm Oberon.
To reach Oberon, you must power up Data Stores A, B, C, and D with Atomic Batteries. Once all four Data Stores are reactivated, return to the Central Processor Room. Four electrical boxes will now be active on the floor where you can use the Signal Redirector.
Redirecting the power will bring up four large consoles and turn some red lights green on a nearby board. When all the lights are green, you can pull a lever on that board to power up the Central Processor and open the path to Oberon.
Make sure you’re well-prepared before heading to Oberon. The way to the dig site will have you running into Ferals, Thralls, and plant life that can inflict the infected status. If you haven’t learned how to make Strange Tonics yet, it would be a great idea to find that recipe before attempting this.
Make your way through the strange purple region to reach the Oberon Dig Site at the end. At the dig site, there will be a large building near the meteorite. Go inside, and be sure to check out the Administration Room on your right to get the Dig Site Storeroom Keycard, in addition to various crafting materials and bits of ammo.
That Storeroom will contain a Pneumatic Tube, an Atomic Battery, and plenty of supplies. You’ll then need to go to the Generator Room, where you’ll need to insert two Atomic Batteries into the terminal in the middle. There will be a Thrall in this room that you’ll need to deal with, but be aware that there are multiple Thralls in this building that will come to get you if you make too much noise.
Insert the batteries, which will activate the sample extraction drill. Now go to the Control Room. There will be various consoles with levers on them. The one you need to pull will be marked as Sample Extractor Console. Use that, and then enjoy watching the fun animation of a drill burrowing into a giant purple meteorite.

Atomfall: How To Find Mother Jago’s Book
Mother Jago asks Atomfall players to help her retrieve a book that was taken by the Druids. Here’s where to find it.
Once the sample is extracted, it will be dropped into a Sample Grinder that will produce a purified sample. Exit the Control Room using the doors to the left to reach the grinder. Try to be careful around here, as there will be three B.A.R.D. Robots with flamethrowers guarding the meteorite.
There will also be a Thrall wearing body armor walking around here, so be prepared to deal with it. Reach the grinder and retrieve the Meteorite Sample Cannister. You now have what Dr. Garrow wants, so you can leave the dig site and make your way back to The Interchange.
When you get back to the Central Processor Room, Dr. Garrow will be gone. She’ll message you over the facility’s intercom and tell you that her escape route is located in her office down in the Lower Level of Robotics. This is where you retrieved her research notes earlier. Make your way back down there and head over to the sample. Surprisingly, Dr. Garrow will be faithful to her word and open up a secret escape route behind the painting on the wall.
What she intends to do with the sample is unclear. She states that she has plenty of research to do, which could be bad considering how things turned out with her other research projects. There’s also a chance that you could become a research subject since it’s often implied that you’ve been infected with the same affliction as other residents of the quarantine zone.
However, despite her snobby attitude, Dr. Garrow doesn’t betray you and will help you escape if you give her what she wants. The only thing you need to consider is whether escaping is worth working with someone as condescending as she is.
