How To Find All The Silver Smugglers In AC Shadows

Assassin’s Creed Shadows features a massive world, meaning there is no shortage of side content. You have to assassinate many unknown organizations, and doing so isn’t easy. One such organization is the Silver Smugglers, who trade stolen silver for teppo.

This quest, in particular, is way too time-consuming, as you have to locate and eliminate seven smugglers. We will tell you about each smuggler’s location and how to assassinate them so you don’t have to waste your time and resources. You will still have to travel a lot, but that will help you unlock various fast-travel points.

How To Start The Silver Smugglers Quest

You can start The Silver Smugglers questline by simply following the quest marker north to Tamba. You can also talk to Fujitaka, who is west of the marker, but as he is hidden, it would be difficult to find him. So, going to the interrogator is the best option.

How To Find All Smugglers And Assassinate Them

The Interrogator

Once you have reached the marker, you will face The Interrogator. If you are playing as Naoe, stealth is the best way to kill him. First, use your Kunai to take out the lookouts, and then assassinate the boss.

Even if you don’t take out all of his health with the assassination, there is no need to worry, as he would have already lost a massive chunk of health. His attack patterns are simple, and with the amount of healing you have, it would be an easy fight.

However, he can poison you pretty quickly and does a lot of attacks that can’t be parried. So don’t be overconfident and play patiently, or else he will take you out before you know it. If you are using Yasuke, then the stealth approach won’t be the best, as he is very strong and can destroy the opponent head-on.

However, Yasuke’s swings are way too slow, so if you are not used to his attacks, it may be difficult for you to secure victory.

The Silver Trader

The next target to kill is The Silver Trader, who can be found east of the Sotomo Gate and in the Genbao Fort (you can also unlock the fast travel viewpoint there). This fight will be way harder than the previous one if you are playing as Naoe.

If your level isn’t that high and can’t take out the opponent’s health in a single assassination attempt, then you may have some trouble fighting this enemy. He will be in the courtyard surrounded by his men, who will make eliminating him difficult.

The best way to defeat him is to take care of his soldiers first, stealthily, and then perform an assassination on him. Even if you don’t take out all of his health, there is no need to worry. A 1v1 fight shouldn’t be a problem this far into the game.

Naoe won’t usually be able to stagger this opponent, so you will need to be extra careful as he can poise through your attack and deal some serious damage with just one hit.

He also only uses attacks that can’t be parried, so playing as Yasuke may be better here, as he can stagger the opponents. After defeating him, you will get Woe’s Fog, a legendary Kanabo, and 310 Won.

The Teppo Merchant

The next target, the Teppo Merchant, can be found in the Fukuchimaya Castle in Tamba. This fight, in particular, won’t be hard, especially if you know how to be stealthy. Make your way into the castle; the target will be at the southwest corner.

You do not have to fight all the enemies on your way to your target, as that would waste a lot of time. This is why stealth will play an important role here.

In case you are spotted, you can use a smoke bomb to create a diversion and go into hiding.

Upon finding the Teppo Merchant, assassinate him, but the soldiers beside him may cause you trouble, so first defeat them.

After defeating them, go into hiding again and wait for the aggro to wear off; once it does, assassinate your target. If you are playing as Yasuke, then this opponent won’t be any trouble. When he falls on the ground, use the ground attack; it will deal a lot of damage.

The Teppo Smuggler

Your next target can be found at the Yakami Fort in the Tamba region. This place will be filled with enemies, so reaching the smuggler may be hard. If you are playing as Yasuke, then we recommend unlocking your Kanabo’s grab skill.

After using this skill, the opponent will fall on the ground, giving you an opportunity to use the ground attack that deals massive damage. However, if you are playing as Naoe, then again, you can’t secure the victory unless you are stealthy. You will get an epic Teppo, Mai’s Warning, and 385 Mon upon defeating him.

The Slaver

The Slaver can be found in a big ship right next to the Tsuruga Sea Port in the Wasaka region. Using Naoe here will be the best bet as she can stealthily make her way onto the ship. Yasuke will attract way too much attention, so it is better that you choose Naoe.

Once you are in the ship, make your way behind the target. Make sure not to get spotted. Once you are at his back, assassinate him. This will take a massive chunk of his health, so use your other skills to kill him quickly.

The Slaver uses a Teppo and can cause explosions that inflict burn status on you. Fighting him at long range is extremely difficult, so make sure to perform an assassination on him.

You can also take out the men around him first using Kunai. However, this may alert your target. After defeating him, you will get an epic Teppo, Nanban’s Curse, and a quest item.

The Smuggler Leader

Your next target is the leader, but it won’t be the last one. She is at Mai’s Mansion, north of Himeji Castle in Harima. When you find her, she won’t be hostile, and her men won’t attack you either. You can talk to her, but it will lead to a fight.

So, it is better to crouch, go behind the ronin sitting beside her, and assassinate the leader. You can take her out in a single hit, but even if you don’t, use your skills to make quick work of her. If you decide to fight her fair and square, then be wary of her chain attacks. She can also inflict bleed.

Upon defeating her, you will get an epic Naginata, Glimmering Sway, and 255 Mon. Then, pick up the quest item and go to Fujitaka. Talk to him, and you will just have to eliminate one more target.

Yoshisada

The last target of this quest can be found at Miyazu Castle in Tamba. Unfortunately, even going behind Yoshisada, you can’t assassinate him, as first you have to talk. After talking to him, immediately break his armor and go into hiding.

When he is no longer targeting you, assassinate him. If your level is high, fighting him head-on won’t be much trouble, either. You can also fight him as Yasuke, as initially assassinating him isn’t possible.

After defeating him, return to Lord Fujitaka, and the quest will end.
