But just like anything powerful, it doesn’t come easy. Crafting this Quinque takes time, resources, and a lot of grinding. If you’re ready to take on the challenge and reach the goal, here’s everything you need to know about how to unlock and craft the Arata Proto.

How To Obtain Arata Proto

Before you can even think about crafting Arata Proto, you need to meet two major requirements: reaching Special Class Investigator rank and earning 25,000 Reputation. Both of these will take time, especially if you’re just starting out.

Become a Special Class Investigator

The player character talks to Saiyo Natsuki NPC at the CCG building in Ghoul Re.

As a member of the CCG, your rank progression goes through several stages. You start as a Rank 3 Investigator and move up by completing missions, defeating Ghouls, and contributing to faction events. So, to achieve the goal, just do the game routine and be an active player.

There are nine ranks in total, and reaching Special Class Investigator is the final one. You can track your current rank and promotion progress by talking to Saiyo Natsuki, the receptionist NPC at the CCG building.

Earn 25,000 Reputation

Reputation is a separate stat from your rank, but like rank, you will earn it during the game by performing similar activities. You can earn Reputation by doing the following:

  • Completing missions from the mission board.
  • Participating in events and raids.
  • Defeating Ghouls and gripping them.

To check your current Reputation value, interact with Saiyo Natsuki again. You need 25,000 to unlock Arata Proto, so make sure you’re actively grinding missions and bosses to get there.

Craft Five One Eyed Kakuja Fragments

The player character stays next to the Crafting Bench in the Laboratory in the CCG building in Ghoul Re.

Once you’ve hit 25,000 Reputation and reached Special Class, the next step is to craft five One Eyed Kakuja Fragments. This is the most time-consuming part of the process, as each of these fragments requires the following:

  • One Eyed Fragments x2 – Dropped from the Eto raid boss.
  • Kakuja Fragments x2 – Crafted from base fragments at the Crafting Bench.

In turn, to create one Kakuja Fragment, you will need:

  • Bikaku Fragments x5.
  • Ukaku Fragments x5.
  • Koukaku Fragments x5.
  • Rinkaku Fragments x5.

Thus, you will need this amount of resources to create Five One Eyed Kakuja Fragments in total:

  • One Eyed Fragments x10.
  • Bikaku Fragments x50.
  • Ukaku Fragments x50.
  • Koukaku Fragments x50.
  • Rinkaku Fragments x50.

Once you have all five One Eyed Kakuja Fragments, head to the second floor of the CCG HQ. There, you will find Damir D. Mado NPC. Interact with him and turn in all five fragments. If you’ve met the Reputation requirement and already hit the Special Class rank, Damir will give you the Arata Proto on the spot.
