Its rare a game company gets as much prestige (and in hindsight, glazing) as Blizzard did at the turn of the millennium. The company that put out classics such as Diablo II, Warcraft III, StarCraft, StarCraft II, and World of Warcraft, could do no wrong – although the company has fallen in grace since then.
Even so, when a team of ex- Blizzard devs makes a publishing studio and announces four games, as is the case with Dreamhaven, it’s worth taking note. Airing yesterday evening (March 25), the Dreamhaven Showcase unveiled a variety of new games that are causing some buzz. Here’s the lowdown:
Four Huge Games Announced at Ex-Blizzard Devs Dreamhaven Showcase

Wildgate
The first, and perhaps biggest announcement, was a new FPS from Dreamhaven studio Moonshot Games is Wildgate, a crew-based extraction shooter. With a sci-fi twist that has you and your crew of misfits struggling others in space, this FPS looks set to make an impact.
Wildgate will be coming to Steam, PlayStation5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.

Mechabellum
Mechabellum has been around for a while – an autobattler with a mecha twist in development by Game River. Mechabellum is now joining the Dreamhaven lineup.
As per Dreamhaven’s release:
“Strategy games are near and dear to a lot of us at Dreamhaven, so partnering with Game River to publish their amazing mech-based auto-battler was a no-brainer. Mechabellum is loved by RTS fans and strategy gamers of all types, and we’re excited to support Game River on their upcoming content plans and help nurture the Mechabellum community.”
Mechabellum is available now on Steam for 20% off, and you can also check out the game during the free-play weekend starting Friday, April 4.
