Cookie Run: Kingdom – Complete Toppings Guide

Cookie Run: Kingdom - Complete Toppings Guide

Crispia World Exploration is the main map in Cookie Run: Kingdom, and you’ll need to clear every battle stage across its regions to complete it. That means your Cookies have to be in top shape. While leveling up, upgrading, and promoting them helps, adding the right Toppings can make them even stronger.

Toppings come in two main types: Regular and Resonant (Mysterious). Each one boosts different stats, like Attack, Defense, Crit Rate, and Damage Resistance, plus they have substats and bonus effects (more on that later). Equipping the right ones can make a huge difference in a fight. If you’re unsure about how Toppings work in Cookie Run: Kingdom, this guide breaks down everything you might need to know about them in the game.

How to Get More Stamina Jellies Fast in Cookie Run Kingdom

Stamina Jellies are what you spend to enter battles and do energy-draining stuff like Balloon Expeditions and some events; here’s how to get them.

In Cookie Run: Kingdom, there are 10 types of Regular Toppings, and they can be used on any cookie. Each one raises or reduces a specific stat, helping turn your characters into powerhouses in battle. These Toppings come in three rarities: XS (Common), Rare (S), and Epic (M).

Besides their main stat, Toppings can also gain random substats (bonus effects) when upgraded. For example, Solid Almond mainly increases Damage Resist, but when upscaled at level six, nine, or 12, it might also get a Attack Speed boost, depending on its rarity. If you equip multiple Toppings of the same type (2, 3, or 5 of them), your Cookie will receive an additional set effect.

That said, to get regular Toppings in Cookie Run: Kingdom, you need to complete Crispia Battle Stages or send your cookies on a Balloon Expedition. Successfully doing these tasks will reward you with different kinds of normal Toppings. You can put them on your characters in the Cookies Menu.

Cookie Run: Kingdom Adding New Kingdom Pass Benefit

Cookie Run: Kingdom adds brand-new Kingdom Pass benefits, and the advantages it offers players are pretty substantial and impressive.

Resonant Toppings (also called Mysterious Toppings) are a special version of the Regular Toppings in Cookie Run: Kingdom. They provide a higher Substat Bonus effect when upgraded to level six, nine, or 12, meaning you get more valuable extra stats besides the main one compared to normal Toppings. Meanwhile, the Main Stat and Set Effect for equipping multiple of the same kind remain unchanged.

However, these Toppings are exclusive to certain Cookies and can only be equipped by them. There are six types of Resonant Toppings you’ll get in the game:

  • Searing Raspberry (ATK)
  • Solid Almond (DMG Resist)
  • Swift Chocolate (Cooldown)
  • Bouncy Caramel (ATK SPD)
  • Juicy Apple Jelly (CRIT)

To get Resonant Toppings in Cookie Run: Kingdom, you need to beat the Special Episodes’ battle stages and buy them from the Catnip Stores. Additionally, you can purchase them from the Event Shop using Crystals. These can be used on your Cookies the same way as Regular Toppings—just go to the Cookies Menu, pick the required character, and add them under the Toppings section.

Explaining the Storyline in Cookie Run Kingdom

A game that’s risen to popularity seemingly from nowhere, Cookie Run Kingdom actually has quite a deep story, at least for a game about cookies.

how to upgrade toppings in cookie run kingdom

As expected, ranking up your Toppings makes them more effective. For example, a Searing Raspberry XS pushes a Cookie’s attack rate by 1%, but leveling it up improves its stats even further. To upgrade Toppings in Cookie Run: Kingdom, open the Cookies Menu, select the Cookie, choose the Topping you want to level up under the tab of the same name, and tap ‘Upgrade’.

However, both Regular and Resonant Toppings have an upgrade limit in the game. And each one requires Topping Pieces, which you can earn through story mode, Balloon Expedition, or events. Here’s the max level-up limit for each Topping rarity:

  • XS Toppings (Common): Can be ranked up to level six
  • S Toppings (Rare): Can be upscaled to level nine
  • M Toppings (Epic): Can be upgraded up to level 12
