Most gamers likely don’t go to Roblox for art, and most artists might not even consider it. But the gaming platform has a big selection of art games for when you’re in the mood to mix the two. There’s a game for every occasion, whether you’re looking to play something competitive, to relax and draw, or to just simply socialize.

In the past few years, drawing games on Roblox have been slowly growing. And for the artists, quite a few of those games have surprisingly advanced features that match up to those of drawing programs. No matter what your goal is, there are options for everyone.

Spray Paint
If you’ve been keeping up with art games on the platform, you’ve likely heard of this one. At the moment, Spray Paint is probably the most popular title in the Roblox art scene, and it’s a laid-back graffiti game set in a skate park.
The biggest highlight is that you can draw anywhere and everywhere, as long as it’s within the park. The game also has a large social aspect to it. As is typical of Roblox, you can chat with others, but Spray Paint also allows you to set your drawings to be public to share your creations as well.

Speed Draw
Speed Draw is one of the more competitive art games on the platform. At the start of a round, a theme gets randomly selected, and you have a few minutes to make a drawing before the time runs out. Once time is up, drawings are anonymously voted on, and the top three earn places on the leaderboard.
Speed Draw gives you the choice to choose your preferred mode: three minutes, five minutes, and pro mode for higher ranks. It follows a typical competition structure, but the challenge is what makes it so fun. It also has a decent number of art tools, and layers come into play as well.

Color By Number
Color By Number is a spin on color by number drawing books. You begin the game with $1,000 and earn more with each number you color. The money can then be used towards unlocking more art pieces. There is a rather large selection of categories to choose from for drawings, with some examples being animals, anime, and food.
Some drawings have large plots and do require some patience to color, but Color By Number is overall very relaxing. The accomplishment of finishing a drawing and seeing the end result is worth it, and the sets are adorable.

Free Draw
Free Draw is a simple and straightforward sketching game. It is very similar to many mobile drawing apps you might see on Google Play or the App Store today. After joining, you are placed in a large white space that’s free to be sketched on anywhere.
What sets Free Draw apart from other Roblox art games is its pen stabilization tool. The tool comes in three types: none, rope, and window. None meaning none at all, window being the smoothest, and rope right in the middle of the two. There’s lots of customization, and the level of stabilization can be adjusted as well.
6
Doodle Transform
Doodle Transform lets you see your 2D drawings in 3-dimensions. It has a bit more than just the standard art tools, with noteworthy ones being the choice to add images and use HEX codes to pick colors. You can adjust the width of your work, so the result is customizable as well.
The game also has a gallery that acts as a marketplace. You can share your artworks in the gallery and view others’ drawings, as well as buy transformations with Robux. What really stands out, though, is being able to view your 3D art and play it on different maps.
5
Draw & Donate
In Draw and Donate, you spawn in a gallery-like museum setting. It allows you to pick any canvas to work from, and you can roam around the space similar to a real-world gallery. The biggest part of Draw and Donate is giving likes to your favorite artworks and donating or earning Robux.
One feature the game has that we’ve rarely seen in any other Roblox art game is the option to change canvas sizes. It’s altogether a fun way to show off your art skills and show support to other artists. Plus, you can play with beautiful jazz and blues in the background.
4
Fine Arts – The Drawing Game
Fine Arts is essentially a version of Gartic Phone without the guessing. The rounds start by letting each player submit a prompt for everyone to draw. You make a drawing for each prompt, and it goes through multiple rounds before everyone’s work is showcased at the end.
You can choose from various modes in Fine Arts: a Champions mode where you fight for the leaderboard, as well as a Greetings mode and Movie mode. Notably, it has a new scrapbook feature. It lets you display your best works, as well as write your own introduction.
3
Draw It
Draw It is your standard guessing game, where one person picks a specific word that has to be guessed by other players. Whoever is chosen as the drawer gets a set of four words to pick from, and the guessers must figure out the word through the game’s chat.
There is a short time limit for the drawer to sketch and for the word to be guessed. It’s casual, multiplayer, and has fairly simple rules. And if a word is too difficult to guess, you can use Robux to buy a hint and reveal a letter.
2
Draw Tower Race
For a competitive art game with very high stakes, Draw Tower Race is a good fit. It starts with you and other players being stuck on small plots of land above pools of lava, and the goal is not to fall in. Each round, a random theme is given, and you get a short amount of time to draw.
The lava slowly rises higher with every round. At the end, voting sessions are held, and you must reach a certain number of stars to stay alive. The art tools in Draw Tower Race are straightforward as well.
1
Draw & Switch
Draw & Switch stands out by being a two-player game in which you and your partner work together to make two pieces of art. You both choose from a set of prompts for your themes, and you are given some time to start the drawings off. After the time is up, you’re switched to your pair’s work, and the round ends after a total of four switches.
It is very collaborative, and you won’t know what theme your pair chooses for their drawing until you are switched. At the end, you can take a look at your works in a small showcase, as well as those of other duos.
