The world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows is big, but it’s not just big; it’s also full of stuff. That stuff ranges from activities like castles, to historically important locations, to vendors and more. It keeps things fresh as you move into different portions of the map, and ensures you’re rarely too far from any one thing.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows – How To Complete Path Of Peril
The Path of Peril is a tricky parkour challenge in AC Shadows.
Vendors in particular can be a frustrating thing to find yourself particularly far away from. Sometimes you absolutely need to either sell something to make room, or desperately need something that a vendor can provide. Luckily, these vendors are scattered pretty regularly throughout the map, especially in densely-populated areas.
Types Of Vendors
There are three different types of vendor, and the vendor variety impacts what you can buy from them.
You can sell any of your sellable items to any vendor, regardless of the vendor variety.
- Gear – These vendors sell different types of weapons and armor, usually around the level you currently find yourself at, as well as rations.
- Port – These vendors sell items that you’ll need to upgrade your hideout.
- Ornament – These vendors sell different cosmetic items, like horse skins and decorations for your hideout.
Each vendor type on our maps will be indicated by a ‘G’ for Gear, ‘P’ for Port, and ‘O’ for Ornament, respectively.
