  • The Blizzard Arcade Collection was added to Xbox Game Pass on March 25.
  • The seventh new title to reach the subscription service in March 2025 offers five classic ’90s games bundled into a single package.
  • Since it’s published by a Microsoft-owned company, the Blizzard Arcade Collection isn’t expected to leave Xbox Game Pass in the foreseeable future.

The Xbox Game Pass library has expanded to include the Blizzard Arcade Collection. This is the seventh new title to reach Microsoft’s subscription service in March 2025, as well as the 28th Xbox Game Pass addition since the turn of the year.

The Blizzard Arcade Collection was originally launched in late February 2021, in celebration of Blizzard’s 30th anniversary. The initial version of the bundle featured three titles: puzzle platformer The Lost Vikings, vehicular combat game Rock n’ Roll Racing, and action platformer Blackthorne. Two more classics—The Lost Vikings 2 and RPM Racing—were added to the collection in April 2021.

Since it’s not a day-one release, the Blizzard Arcade Collection is available across all the non-Core tiers of Xbox Game Pass. Unlike most titles that are part of the popular subscription service, this newly introduced bundle isn’t expected to leave the XGP library in the foreseeable future, as it’s published by a Microsoft subsidiary, Blizzard. The only time Microsoft’s own titles leave Xbox Game Pass is when they’re delisted due to issues like expiring licenses, as was the case with Forza Horizon 4 in late 2024.

Blizzard Arcade Collection Games

  • Blackthorne (1994)
  • The Lost Vikings (1993)
  • The Lost Vikings 2 (1997)
  • Rock n’ Roll Racing (1993)
  • RPM Racing (1991)

Fans of classic ’90s games should hence have plenty of time to experience the Blizzard Arcade Collection via Xbox Game Pass at their own pace. Moving forward, the subscription service has one more release scheduled for this month, Rebellion Developments’ post-apocalyptic survival game Atomfall, which is coming to Xbox Game Pass as a day-one title on March 27. PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate members have technically been able to play Atomfall since March 24, so long as they purchased the $22.49 Deluxe Upgrade, which comes with early access.

Microsoft’s subscription service already has half a dozen day-one titles confirmed for next month, starting with South of Midnight, which arrives on April 8. Commandos: Origins and Descenders Next are then scheduled to materialize a day later, followed by Blue Prince on April 10. Lastly, Tempopo and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 are slated to arrive on April 17 and April 24, respectively.
