Fortnite Reload is a fun second game mode in the platform, a speedier version of Battle Royale more focused on combat. The loot pool is a bit different, but there are still Fortnite Reload Exotics in the game too! They can even be unlocked in great number.
The Fortnite Reload Loot pool has changed pretty frequently. However, the guns are just a selection of items we’ve seen in the main game. Usually, ones that aren’t in the Battle Royale weapons any more. For Fortnite Reload Exotics a bit of a different system has been established. The Exotics are pretty much all included, but with a few recent differences. Plus, the method for getting them is completely different.

All Fortnite Reload Exotics
Since Fortnite Reload incudes a mixture of old content, that applies to the Reload Exotics too. Players can find quit a few of the exotics, especially the last batch we saw added in Chapter 4. That includes favorites like the Explosive AR and Accelerant Shotgun. Although, the current Chapter 6 Exotics aren’t in the game. Most of the older weapons are. These are the current guns in the selection:
- Heisted Explosive Assault Rifle
- Heisted Breacher Shotgun
- Heisted Accelerant Shotgun
- Heisted Run N Gun SMG
- Heisted Blink Mag SMG

How to Get the Fortnite Reload Exotics
That’s the selection, but how exactly can you collect them? It’s a completely different set up to Battle Royale. Both the NPCs selling items and Black Market locations are missing from Reload. However, the game does still have Exotics available… through chests.
Exotics in Reload are the same as normal loot in any game mode. Players just need to open up chests until they get lucky. They can’t affect the RNG or chance of getting one in any way, it’s just a random happening.

One nice difference though is the full Exotic chests. For some reason, there’s a low chance of getting a chest which drops every single exotic in the game. For no real reason, this can occur at random. These are sometimes called dev chests in the game since they have so many fantastic tools.
The Fortnite Reload Exotics are available just through random loot like this. You can’t effect your odds of getting them. However, whenever you do manage to pick one up you get a real advantage, it’ll definitely help to win Fortnite games in this season.
