How To Get Every Crafting Recipe In Atomfall

Crafting in Atomfall lets you create the equipment that you need on the fly. It takes time, and the world remains active while you’re in the menu, so you need to be in relative safety to be able to do it, but when you need a quick bandage or bomb, being able to whip one up can be a lifesaver.

Atomfall Review: Keep Calm And Carry Guns

Atomfall brings the twee post-apocalypse to rural Britain.

At the start of the game, you’ll only have once crafting recipe. The rest, you’ll have to find as you explore the Quarantine Zone. There are several copies of most recipes hidden throughout the game; this guide has the easiest way to get each.

How To Craft In Atomfall

Once you find a crafting recipe, you need to use it (either from your inventory or simply by interacting with it in the world). Once you do, the recipe item disappears but you’ll permanently be able to make the associated item, provided you have the necessary materials.

All you need to do to make any item is go to the crafting menu, select the item, and hold the button until the meter fills. Once it’s done, the item will be added to your backpack automatically. If there’s no room in your backpack, you won’t be able to craft the item.

The Crafting Manual, available from the Hardware Store in Wyndham Village, includes a skill that speeds up crafting considerably.
