Pokemon Go fans will be well aware that the game is now under new management, with Niantic having been bought by Monopoly Go developer Scopely. Thanks to the sale, Scopely now boasts two of the most popular mobile games in circulation at the moment, yet its ambitions don’t appear to have ended there.
Announced during CD Projekt Red’s most recent earnings call (thanks VGC), it was revealed that the studio is now working with Scopely to create an IP adaptation, though the IP in question was not shared. We don’t know any details about the game itself either, though given Scopely’s current work, we can most likely assume it’ll be functionally similar to the likes of Pokemon Go.

Of course, we can take a good guess at what this mystery IP is, given that CD Projekt Red doesn’t exactly have the most diverse portfolio. The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077 are the only games it has under its belt, so we can probably place our bets on it being one of those, though we do know CD Projekt Red is working on a new IP at the moment, currently codenamed Project Hadar.
