Summary
- One of the most ambitious fan projects for Baldur’s Gate 3 is the custom campaign, Path to Menzoberranzan.
- The team is currently looking to bring on new artists.
- This is so it can create unique assets for the incredibly impressive mod.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has a huge modding community, one that Larian has fostered by releasing mod tools and even supporting mods on console. So, it’s no surprise that some fans are taking it upon themselves to release their own campaigns, acting as unofficial expansions for the hit RPG.
Path to Menzoberranzan is one such mod. This custom campaign is taking players to the titular Drow city, but also to Athkatla, where we spent most of our time in Baldur’s Gate 2. Needless to say, creating entirely new maps in Baldur’s Gate 3 and tying it together with quests – not to mention adding new companions – is a huge undertaking, and one that the team could do with some help on.
