How To Play Roll Treasures
Earn Hammer Tokens From Other Events
You’re likely no stranger to the special events that take place every few days in Monopoly Go, which task you with collecting event tokens from other parts of the game, and the Roll Treasures event is no exception. You can earn free Roll Treasures hammers by:
- Participating in the daily leaderboard tournaments throughout the course of the event. These are 40-milestone events that pit you against 99 other Monopoly Go players in pursuit of rewards like free dice rolls, rarer sticker packs, and event tokens while Roll Treasures is on.
- Hitting milestone goals in the center banner event, Captain’s Quest. This event has 62 milestones to hit instead of the 40, but you’ll earn even more free Roll Treasures hammers for hitting them.
- Grabbing your free in-game store items every eight hours once they refresh. You’ll always get at least some free dice rolls, but you’ll also receive tokens for Roll Treasures throughout the course of the event.
- Completing daily quick win goals each day after they reset at 9AM EST. These three simple tasks, like rolling doubles or playing a Shutdown minigame on a Railroad tile, each net you several prizes per task, including free Roll Treasures hammers on the days the event is active.
- Finishing levels in RollTreasures with extra tokens listed as a reward in the table below.
- Using a hammer you’ve already earned to uncover hammers in the Roll Treasures grid as you excavate may occasionally yield a single hammer, effectively replacing the one you just used and offering you a chance to try again.

Clear Grids On 12 Levels To Win Prizes
This round of Roll Treasures is underwater themed, and the list of rewards for the event is primarily centered on offering free dice rolls to replenish all the ones you spent trying to help your team with the Tycoon Racers event we played over the weekend. This two-day dig offers no cosmetic rewards, but if you’re low on dice and like a treasure hunt, it’s a good time to play. You’ll clear one tile per hammer token across 12 game boards, and the rewards get better as you cruise through the event.
As you hunt for underwater treasures, you’ll notice that plenty of the game grids have obstacles on the board, with things like solid structures blocking the paths of the critters that occasionally help clear out additional tiles when you unearth them or tiles with rubble that require some extra hammers to break. Treasures are different sizes beneath the earth you’re uncovering, so be mindful of the token’s size when hunting.
These obstacles can help inform where you might want to guess next. For example, in the second level of Roll Treasures, you’ll need to find a comb that’s three tiles long by one tile wide. With the plus-shaped blockage in the middle, there are several spots on the game board that physically cannot hide an item of that size, so use these obstacles to your advantage whenever possible.
