Each year in Hello Kitty Island Adventure brings a range of events for you to complete. Come March, there are several events that occur around the same time, with the Colorblaze Carnival being one of them. This is a colorful event that tasks you with completing challenges that Pochacco set up.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure: Achievement/Trophy Guide
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is packed full of milestones. Here, you can learn how to complete every achievement in the game.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at all you need to know about the Colorblaze Carnival. This will cover every reward possible, as well as how to actually participate in the event and get your hands on Color Powder, which is used to trade for new event-related items.
When Is The Colorblaze Carnival Event
This year, the Colorblaze Carnival is running from March 25 to April 13. Between these dates, you can find the event kiosk set up to the southeast of the Resort Plaza. The Springtime Celebration event will also be happening still; both kiosks are near each other.
At this kiosk, you’ll be able to trade Color Powder for a variety of event items, which we will go over later.
How To Get Color Powder
You can earn Color Powder by completing the challenges that Pochacco has set up. Each day, you’ll see a new Colorblaze Challenge set up. From the map, you’ll be able to find the location marked with an icon that looks like a banner between two poles.
Only one challenge will appear each day, and doing it more than once will not result in more Color Powder.
When you go to the Colorblaze Challenge location, you’ll see the banner, along with a button under it. This functions similarly to normal challenges, in which you have a limited amount of time to collect marigolds that explode when touched.
The challenges aren’t too difficult, but if you are struggling to collect the Marigolds, we suggest either consuming a potion to boost your speed, or asking Pochacco to join you, as he has an ability that lets you walk faster.
After a Colorblaze Challenge has been completed, you’ll get seven Color Powder. This is the maximum that you can get in a day, so you’ll need to complete the challenge the following day to get more.

Be sure to check your flower fields each day of the event to see if any Marigolds have appeared. The chances of it appearing are completely random, but if you have the ability to move flower plants (with the trowel from Dig It Up), you can move some flowers around to make space for potential Marigolds.
You’ll only find the orange version of Marigolds spawning during this event.

How To Obtain Past Event Clothing & Furniture
The Colorblaze Carnival first began in 2024. If you missed out on this, there is still a way to get the items! In order to obtain past Colorblaze Carnival items, you can buy them from My Melody’s or Tuxedosam’s shop.
For example, if you want the 2024 Colorblaze Wallpaper, there is a chance that it may be available at Small Gift Big Smile. Past event items typically cost Color Powder and other materials (rather than just Color Powder like kiosk items).
The chances of these items appearing are random, so we highly suggest swinging by both of these shops each day.
