Where to find an Atomfall Signal Redirector

Where to find an Atomfall Signal Redirector

Where is the Atomfall Signal Redirector? You’ll come across more than a few electrical control boxes in your time wandering the Lake District. These control boxes will often halt your progress, keep valuables sealed behind closed doors, and supply power to the many turrets that would gladly riddle you with bullet holes.

Thankfully, there is a device in Atomfall that can divert power to these control boxes, opening new passages, or shutting down defenses so you can pass safely. There are also times when powering up defenses can save you some precious Atomfall weapon ammunition. Here’s where you can find an Atomfall Signal Redirector – we’ll keep this as spoiler-free as possible, but beware that there might be a few bits here and there.

Atomfall Signal Redirector locations

Here are the locations of the Atomfall Signal Redirector:

  • Inside the Protocol Field Station (41.3E, 74.9N) in Skethermoor. You must locate the corpse of Windfall in the Protocol Workshop and loot Windfall’s Key first.
  • In the storage area of the Skethermoor Prison, in the same area as Dr. Garrow.

You only need one Signal Redirector, so while it is entirely possible to find both, feel free to ignore the one you don’t have. If you don’t mind going up against the Protocol, then the Signal Redirector in the Special Protocol Garrison is an ideal place to start. The underground location has a ton of valuables you can loot, especially duplicate firearms for Atomfall weapon upgrading.

If you’re in the Protocol’s good graces, then the prison Signal Redirector may be the safer bet as you should be able to get in and out without causing a fuss. Though it contains slightly less loot, you’ll have less blood on your hands as a result of playing nice.

Now that you know where to find an Atomfall Signal Redirector, you’ll have no trouble cracking any door and disabling any turret. If you’re looking to dig deeper into the Interchange, you’ll need to be ready, so check out our guides on Atomfall skills and Atomfall training manuals, both of which are vital if you want to survive.
