A new trailer and key details for Venom in Guilty Gear Strive have just been announced!
The character has a new trailer here, showcasing how their moves are going to work in the game. Along with a starter guide! Although, it does seem like the Strive meta for the character is leaning towards them being more of an expert character than a basic one.
Since we are now pretty far into the game’s life, its fair for DLC characters to be targeting the experts more than the beginners, and Venom definitely looks like he’ll be interesting for established players. Plus, everyone who plays GGS will have to learn to at least counter Venom.

When Does Venom Release?
When exactly will Venom release in Guilty Gear Strive? They’re launching today, March 24th! It’ll be a new character, but it is for those who are purchasing the DLC. If you’ve already got the pass, you’ll be able to play straight away. Or you’ll need to purchase the pack if your picking characters individually.
Venom should be interesting to see in fighting game esports over the coming tournaments! Especially as we start to get into the new events in 2025.
