Riot Games x Red Bull for the upcoming two years
Red Bull will continue to be the official energy drink for both VALORANT and League of Legends in EMEA for 2025 and 2026. Financial terms of these partnerships, however, were not disclosed.
According to a release, Red Bull will continue to support VCT EMEA with its “Clutch Moments” during the broadcasts as well as branding integration during the competitions. Additionally, there will be community events featuring top VALORANT teams, which will be announced at a later date. And just like most Red Bull sponsored events, it will make the branded energy drink available for cast and teams. With this renewal, Red Bull will be a partner for at least a total of six years with the European league, which started back in 2021.
“We’re proud to partner with a brand that has now committed to helping VCT EMEA for half a decade, and we’re very excited to see more mind blowing Red Bull clutches in the upcoming season,” said Riot Games in its announcement post.
Red Bull to continue with LoL
Regarding the LEC, instead, Red Bull will continue to provide the beverage to the competitions, appearing during the broadcast and featuring in the iconic “Baron Power Play”. Moreover, Red Bull is set to support its own events featuring LEC teams in the near future.
In the past two years, the energy drink brand brought its own off-season event, Red Bull League of Its Own, featuring some of the most popular LoL teams from across the world, including world champions T1. For the 2024 edition, the event took place at the Accor Arena in Paris, France, attracting a peak of over 600,000 viewers and featuring a total of seven teams, including Karmine Corp, G2 Esports, and more.
