Magic: The Gathering has thrown some pretty surprising crossovers our way via its Universe Beyond sets and Secret Lairs, but none has been more surprising than the reveal MTG is headed to Bikini Bottom. The SpongeBob SquarePants Secret Lair got its full reveal earlier this month, and starting today, it’s available to buy.

The SpongeBob Secret Lair will go on sale at noon EST today, so it should be available through the links in the box below by the time you read this article. The set has been split into three parts – Legends of Bikini Bottom, Internet Sensation, and Lands Under The Sea. Each of the options has a regular option for $29.99, or a more expensive foil option for $39.99.

The Legends of Bikini Bottom option includes cards featuring pretty much all of the main characters in the long-running Nickelodeon show. Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, and of course, SpongeBob himself. The star of the show is featured more frequently in the Internet Sensation section of the Secret Lair as it includes cards representing some of SpongeBob’s most famous memes – there have been a lot of them. As the name implies, the Lands Under The Sea selection focuses on locations, five of them including Bikini Bottom and Jellyfish Fields.

If you can’t choose which set you want, there are bundles available that include all three. Even better, buying all three sets in a single bundle will save you a little bit of money. The regular bundle is $85, so $5 cheaper than buying the three sets individually, and the foil bundle is $115, so again, $5 less than picking up all three foil drops individually.

Secret Lair x SpongeBob SquarePants

SpongeBob SquarePants has arrived in Magic: The Gathering. The iconic cartoon character now has how very own Secret Lair with everything from his most famous memes to some of the animated show’s most famous locations being immortalized as MTG cards.Override

If prior crossover Secret Lairs and Universes Beyond sets are anything to go by, these SpongeBob cards aren’t going to be around for long. Everything in the Marvel Secret Lair, which was the superhero franchise’s first foray into MTG, sold out almost immediately. The same applies to the much larger upcoming Final Fantasy set which will be getting a much bigger drop that covers multiple Final Fantasy games. Unsurprisingly, the products featuring characters from Final Fantasy 7 appear to have been the most popular.
