LEC 2025 Spring – Introduction

The LEC 2025 Spring Split is the second split of the current competitive season. The 10 teams will face off in a single-bracket round-robin of Bo3 matches, with the top 6 qualifying directly to the Spring Playoffs. The winner and runner-up of the Spring Playoffs will not only qualify for MSI, but they will also secure a spot at the upcoming Esports World Cup, which will take place during the summer.

The main change for the spring split is the implementation of the Fearless Draft mode from the get-go, following Riot’s announcement to keep the format for the entirety of the season. The drafting aspect will be even more emphasized in playoffs as all series will be Bo5s.

When will the LEC Spring Split start?

The LEC will be kicking off March 29 and go all the way until June 8, the day of the Grand Final. Compared to the previous year, the schedule is more extended as the 2024 spring split ended in mid-April.

To accommodate the Bo3 format, Riot has decided to make changes to the schedule. Matches will always be played from Saturday to Monday but the starting times have been adjusted.
