InZOI’s a newcomer to the life sim genre in more than one area, and may overshadow The Sims 4 with the inclusion of a long-requested feature.
Now, ahead of InZOI’s early access release on March 28, the life simulation game has soared to the top of Steam’s most wishlisted games, overcoming Hollow Knight: Silksong, Valve’s Deadlock, and Elden Ring: Neightreign, which are all widely popular upcoming titles. Overall, it’s not entirely surprising to see InZOI gaining so many wishlists, as doing so is a requisite for gaining access to InZOI: Creative Studio, which allows gamers to use the character creator of the upcoming life sim. The rest of the current Top 10 most wishlisted games include Mecha Break, Light No Fire, Subnautica 2, Dune: Awakening, Borderlands 4, and ARK 2.

- Elden Ring: Nightreign
- Mecha Break
- Light No Fire
- Subnautica 2
- Dune: Awakening

It’s also not entirely surprising to see Hollow Knight: Silksong being beaten out of the top spot on Steam’s wishlists. Not only has Monster Hunter Wilds done the same previously, but Hollow Knight: Silksong fans have been fairly angry recently due to the lack of news surrounding the game’s release. Despite Hollow Knight: Silksong often getting encouraging updates, Team Cherry has not yet confirmed when it’ll be available, which has toned down the surrounding hype a bit in recent months.
Time will tell, however, if InZOI will be able to maintain its popularity for enough time to challenge The Sims 4. Recently, InZOI revealed its post-launch roadmap, sharing some exciting details for gamers who want to know what’s coming to the already popular life sim soon. According to Krafton, InZOI will have multiple free DLCs during the early access period. The first one will be the Kucingku Cat Island, which inZOI Studio plans to release in August 2025, bringing a new city inspired by Southeast Asia to the game. The following update will be out between August and September 2025, and it will introduce even more features to InZOI, hopefully keeping the experience fresh while gamers await the 1.0 release.
