How To Unlock The Spirit Of Advocacy
You will unlock the Spirit of Advocacy during the Forgotten Temple – which is the third stage of the game. After you have fully disarmed the strange device in the basement of the temple, you will need to fight a spectral version of Khazan. Once you defeat them, you will be able to progress the story forward, and you’ll have obtained the ability to summon the Spirit of Advocacy before fighting bosses.
How To Summon The Spirit Of Advocacy
Once you have unlocked the Spirit of Advocacy, you’ll need to use the Circular Lacrima item to summon them at the white glowy spot in front of boss rooms. Circular Lacrima are a one-use item, so it is possible to run out of them. However, by defeating a Spirit of Vengeance, you will be rewarded with Circular Lacrima (the amount varies).
If you return to the previous bosses, such as the Yeti or Knight, the Spirit of Advocacy summoning point will now be present.
How To Strengthen The Spirit Of Advocacy
If you speak to Daphrona in the Crevice, you’ll be able to select the Upgrade Spirit of Advocacy option. This will allow you to use your Lacrima of Circulation to enhance the spirit who fights alongside you. Additionally, certain amulets and rings will greatly buff the Spirit of Advocacy.
