Assassin’s Creed Shadows – How To Complete Path Of Silence

The Path of Silence is the hidden trail you can find in the Tamba province, and here’s how you can easily get the chest in it.

These Paths act as parkour challenges, usually taking place on hills or mountains and requiring you to use many different skills in your parkour repertoire. But as a reward for completing these paths, you’ll find a chest that contains a unique armor or weapon; some of these are going to come in especially handy, and for completionists, they’re necessary.

How To Find The Path Of Peril

The Path of Peril is found on the west side of the map, almost as far west as you can possibly go. It’s sandwiched between Harima and Tamba, and west of Mount Kasagata. The terrain here is going to be especially problematic to navigate, but there’s a mountain pass that can lead you much of the way up.

All paths are indicated by yellow markings; usually, these are yellow ribbons tied to sticks or other decorations in an area. In the case of the Path of Peril, it’s going to lead you to a small wooden structure with a campfire.

How To Complete The Path Of Peril

The Path of Peril is, like most of the Paths, fairly easy to complete, as long as you aren’t trying to go too fast.

There’s no need to speedrun these Paths, and when you aren’t familiar with them, that can lead to a big fall, causing you to have to backtrack.

The first part of this Path requires you to grapple onto a pole sticking out of the rock above you, swinging over to the ledge across the gap.

Then, leap onto the pole sticking out of the ledge in front of this next gap, and onto the rock that’s slightly to the right.

This next step is a pretty long grapple-jump; you’ll need to grapple and jump all the way onto the rock pillar in the middle of the trees.

This isn’t as difficult as it looks; just be sure to maintain your momentum when you jump from the grapple.

This next bit has a few jumps, starting with the rock just ahead of you, and then across multiple branches and stones that wind along the cliff on the left.

You’ll need to be very deliberate about where you’re aiming when you jump here because it’s easy to accidentally leap in the wrong direction and need to start again.

Next, you’ll need to walk through the gap in the rocks on your left, and then walk across the tree that extends horizontally, all the way onto the rock platform, and then across the rope bridge.

Reward For Completing The Path Of Peril

Completing the Path of Peril rewards you with the Toxic Kusarigama of Malice, which inflicts poison on enemies that you hit with it, as well as increasing the affliction buildup for each consecutive hit. With an upgraded Forge in your Hideout, you’ll be able to engrave another perk on it, as well.
