How to Use the Storage Stash in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Players can find the storage boxes in all the Kakurega they unlock or the one in Hideout in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Look for a brown wooden chest in the room and approach it to see the “access storage” prompt. After going into the storage menu, you’ll see two options: deposit and withdraw.

Players can select any item from their inventory by browsing through the list of weapons, armor, and ornaments. Once the item is deposited, players can also retrieve it by going into the withdraw tab, browsing to the required gear category, and withdrawing it.

Although AC Shadows does not feature a weight system for the characters, it’s still helpful to stash all your unnecessary gear in storage. It helps in cleaning up clutter in your inventory, so you only have the equipment that you’ll actually use in the open world.

Should You Stash Unnecessary Loot or Sell/Dismantle it?

Storing your weapons in the stash may help clean up the clutter in your inventory, but is there a better use of unnecessary gear? Well, yes, there are two other ways you can use to take care of all the necessary loot in your inventory and actually benefit from it.

The one method is dismantling unnecessary gear. Head over to Heiji in the Hideout and talk to him. Switch over to the Dismantle tab and choose a piece of gear. Depending on what gear type you dismantle, you’ll get Iron Sand, Leather, Hemp Cloth, Silk, and various other essential materials. It’s a great way to get rid of unnecessary loot if you wish to get mats to upgrade weapons.

Another option is to visit a Gear Vendor in any of the villages and sell your unnecessary weapons. This isn’t the best way to get a lot of Mon, but it can be beneficial if you have a lot of useless weapons lying around and need some money urgently.
